"Responsible gaming is an important priority for LeoVegas Group". Yeah, right. Just like heroin dealers encourage responsible drug use. Gambling fucks up the lives of so many people, it is way too easy to gamble these days. When I was alive, bookies shops were by law, fucking uncomfortable. No seats, no refreshments, no windows, so gullible little fucks like I was couldn't see what was going on. They were the only place apart from casinos and tracks where you could gamble. Now people can get their lives ruined online, in nice comfy bookies, anywhere, anytime. I couldn't believe it when Gordon Brown abolished the gambling tax, I rated him quite highly (higher than any of the Tory cunts or Tony B Liar). It's totally fucked up that you have to pay tax on insurance premiums, doing the right thing to protect yourself, but, no fucking tax on gambling! The gambling companies have huge marketing budgets, just like the tobacco giants had in the 80s and 90s, will we see gambling executives lying their bollocks off in the future, about not knowing gambling was harmful or addictive like those Phillip Morris cunts?

Increasing gambling age to 21 would be a good start!

From my personal experience, and everyone is different…..

Smoking yes, as it has a drug which addicts the user. Remove nicotine and it becomes a habit, not an addiction.

Drinking, not sure as the addiction isn’t in the beer itself, the addiction is caused by the impact the alcohol has to the persons mental state.

For me, giving up smoking was a harder and longer process than alcohol. I stopped drinking instantly, smoking took 3 years of NRT.

Gambling, smoking, drinking should be banned due to the impact of public services, however the cost of policing the black market would increase.

I don't agree with this shit...

Gambling should be treated like smoking.
This 100%. And clubs are taking massive £££££ from these gambling firms while the league is banning players for betting. I like to have the occasional bet as much as the next guy, but I don’t like this at all.

I've never understood why you can get arrested for having a joint but you can have any amount of drink and be completely out of control or gamble all your wages and ruin other peoples lives....and that's fine cos its fun!! It's ok to gamble your mortgage...as long as you do it "responsibly".

What a load of bollocks!

I love a bet, I love a pint, but I can. I'm lucky. Others fall into a never ending hole of addiction and these cunts couldn't give a fuck as long as you become a new customer.
Outright ban needed but money is always going to trump that.

Tottenham Hotspur are in advanced negotiations over a huge new matchday shirt sleeve sponsorship deal which is expected to be announced as early as this month, football.london understands.

Spurs' shirt sleeve partnership with Cinch was meant to last five years after being signed in 2021, but the online car-selling company is believed to have exercised an early exit option as it pulls back on its sponsorship commitments, having done the same with its Scottish Premiership Football League deal.

That early exit looks to have benefited Tottenham greatly as football.london understands that they made the most of rising sponsorship valuations and are in advanced talks to agree a matchday shirt sleeve deal with a new partner that will dwarf the £10million a year they were getting from the Cinch deal and it should be announced in the coming weeks.

Looks like the guy who stitched on the Nike swoosh took a hit off Bissouma's hippy crack first

That's so the swoosh is right-side-up when you're sliding in on a Mickey-style last-gasp tackle.

Someone asked AI to "design a cool kit" and this is what popped out. But it's better than the scuba gear from a few years back.

At first glance, I thought it was a reprise of the Miracle in Amsterdam kit. But apparently instead of a map of North London, it's a bunch of trees (the Seven Sisters).
I don't see the forest for the trees.

Collars a bit dodgy looking and that Nike Swoosh just looks fucking ridiculous. Other than that it's pretty decent looking. Won't be paying 80 quid for the fucker though that's for sure!

All my pals are using DHGate app to get factory backdoor specials for about £15. Couldn't tell the difference in quality even to touch.

The Nike 2025 kit price hike is the first major one since 2023 and will affect both the replica (fan) and authentic (player) versions of their kits, with the most substantial rise hitting the replica range.

As of now, Footy Headlines has only received confirmed information on Nike's U.S. pricing structure. The replica kit, often the go-to option for most fans due to its affordability, will see a price increase from the current 95 USD to 105 USD. Meanwhile, the authentic version, which players on the pitch almost identically wear, will increase from 170 USD to 175 USD.

The price increase for the Fan version is more than 10%
This marks the biggest price jump for the replica shirts in years, and while the authentic version is also seeing an uptick, the replica's hike is particularly notable, especially for fans who prefer the more budget-friendly option.

The particular massive price increase for the replica becomes apparent when comparing the percentages - the replica goes up a huge 10.5 %, while the authentic just goes up 3%.

Currently, the confirmed prices apply to the U.S. market and to Nike only. It seems sure that some of these changes will carry over to other regions as well, such as Europe and Asia.
