I've just had a look at those 'live' cameras around the stadium and the one from inside the North stand shows all the former droopy cables, as taught as a taught thing......! I'm no expert stadium roofing engineering type person, but with my little new found expertise, I'd say the new stadium roof is ready for lift off.

Funny how it's going to coincide with Hugo and Harry visiting the stadium and the new Season ticket details coming out.......what a coincidence?

As far as I can work out the 1882 premium season ticket for £2200, gets you a bar that is slightly less crammed than the South stand bar, and a very average view ticket. It's a nonsense, You can go to the Brickies for free and get a better view seat for half that price. A lot of this doesan't make much sense.

I don't understand it at all. My uncle is a lucky man and is very wealthy living in Miami. He has premium dolphin tickets, but you tend to eat and drink throughout the game which makes it brilliant as you can fly in and out with no queues and you get a food stall and bar per 60 odd people... But you can drink in the stands. Football you only really drink at half time and maybe an hour before. As you say really doesn't seem worth it at all.

Bet u its £6 a pint too!

They have just missed a trick and made it all too premium! I probably will get a ticket but at the moment seriously considering not doing as its going to be a minimum of a £2,000 and whilst the bar is lovely it smells ovecrecovery

It looks fantastic, if I were going on holiday to a 5 star hotel, which I would be of course, those other hotels are a bit too pikey for a man as sophisticated as wot I am, then I would book the New Lane. But, being a bit of an oik, a sophisticated one of course, I am not arsed about a shiney, hi-tech football stadium, I liked the old Lane, it was comfy, felt like home - not the manison I l live in of course, no, we don't have smelly bogs, disgusting food and our sweet sherry is not served in plastic glasses, a different sort of home.

I suppose I have to accept progress, the cunt, I fucking hate progress, but it's going to happen - except politically of course, we are moving back into the 1950s as a country, and as a world, you would think that would please me - but it fucking doesn't, those 'good old days' were total shite. now the young folks will get the opportunity to see what it was like. So I have gone all stark raving bipolar, the new stuff is shite and the new, 'back to the past' future will also be shite, bollocks, I'll just have to stay grumpy as fuck and moan about everything, until we move to Spain, then I can moan about it being too hot and all the fucking British tourists coming over here and being cunts.

If you've got 13 minutes spare and really interested in all the work that you can't see from the camera's, like the underground stuff at the park lane end, this is a great video.

Shame I will never be able to afford a ticket...

Shame it'll be full of hooray Henry's within 3 years...

Shame this club has just become another conglomerate...

Shine has seriously worn off before it's even opened...

Its so noticeable even in this thread. Used to be updated everyday with something. Slowed down so much now.

Roof looks like it's almost up now... I think the horizontal bits are supposed to be level with the compression ring iirc?

The first pins have been put in,so its final position must be thereabouts.

Found it ... always the way, soon as I ask for something, I find it myself.

Using my highly scientific method, we're at about 19 seconds, and the whole build id done by 23 ;)
