In preparation for our proposed temporary relocation to Wembley, the Club can confirm that we shall be supporting Wembley National Stadium Limited (WNSL) in their planning application to the London Borough of Brent to increase the number of events at which the stadium can be opened at full capacity for the 2017-18 season.
There has been a huge demand for tickets from our fans and the residents of Brent during our four European fixtures hosted at Wembley so far this season and the prospect of all Club games being played in front of a full capacity stadium would allow many more to have the chance to watch all of our Premier League and cup games.
Importantly, if approved by the London Borough of Brent, it will allow the stadium operators, the Club, emergency services and transport providers to put in place a comprehensive management plan for the full period of any tenancy with certainty on how the stadium will be allocated throughout the period and what management measures are required.
We shall be supporting WNSL as they undertake a thorough consultation process so that residents are fully aware of the application and our commitment to ensuring that our proposed tenancy delivers positive benefits, as well as initiatives and improvements to better mitigate event day impacts on local residents and the wider community.
This season, the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation has already delivered activity across the Borough around the period of our matches, which has been greatly welcomed. We would look to build on the success of these projects by expanding our work with schools and grass roots football as well with health and social cohesion initiatives.
We have been overwhelmed by the positive reception we have received from Brent Council, schools, community groups and organisations.

Depending on the FA Cup draw, there are only 8 games left at White Hart Lane. Start begging, stealing, buying or borrowing a ticket for one of those games if you want to say cheerio to the old girl and everything we've all seen and experienced happening there.
Everything from your favourite terrace crowd barrier on the Shelf, to your most memorable Hoddle goal like the last one against Oxford United, the UEFA Cup final and Champions League games, The nights under lights, Pat Jennings and Gareth Bale, to Harry Kane. Winning and losing to the Scum and Chelsea, 5-1's, and the all songs, Archibald and Crooks, Roberts and Miller and Jimmy Neighbour on the wing.
Great times and everyone has their own memories, one last time.....then onwards and upwards (literally) with this new great stadium, team and manager. Someone said the future is bright, it is.

Just follow the Borussia Dortmund model...that seems to work pretty well.
I noticed at a Liverpool game recently, maybe Swansea, that all those giant flags, get shipped off by club staff for storage, as soon as the game kicks off. Which begs the question - were the flags made by the club or the so-called fanatical supporters? I think it's the former.
We just need to make sure it's noisy and intimidating for the opposition. That will do for me, the flags and banners will take care of themselves...I might even do another one, ha ha!!

I'm a bit bored at work so I was playing around with some numbers revenue guessing. Feel free to correct any of this. It's just the revenue side of the books....
Revenue from 19 league games at WHL full capacity (36,200 ish) @ average c.£45.00 per ticket = £1,629,000
Next season revenue from 19 games at Wembley, average 61,000 (same as new Stadium) @ £30 per ticket = £1,830,000
Difference = £201,000 x 19 games = £3, 819,000. So overall not much, The additional revenue from scarves, flags, shirts and spreading the global brand - not sure but worth something. Cost of hire probably accounts for much of the additional revenue.
When we are in the new Stadium I expect the revenue streams to be much greater and the difference much, much wider. The corporate sector will be huge, but leave enough room for us lot as well.

Arsenal get £150m from Emirates for the Library until 2021. We'll smash that with x 2 NFL games. As long as it isn't the Kentucky Fried stadium or something silly. It will always be White Hart Lane as far as I'm concerned anyway.

All the info I've heard on this suggested the stadium was already paid for by the NFL deal. And Don is right. We'll always call it the lane. Maybe younger and new fans will use the new name and in time it will change as sponsors change etc so the name of the ground will be relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
Originally I had a hard time letting go of the old place as I'm an old fuddy duddy who doesn't embrace change. But the revenue this will generate, so long as it is used correctly will catapult us to the next level so far as challengers goes so I'm fully behind it now and can't wait tbh.

Yeh I just want to go on record as saying I don't want this route to corporate armageddon. Strip out White Hart Lane, ok why don't we just change our kit to red, white and blue and call ourselves the London Hotspurs. It starts here with a little drip. Nope it should always be White Hart Lane ALWAYS, I can cope with WHL sponsored by... just, but strip it out altogether - fuck off. Tottenham is not famous across the globe because it's Tottenham FFS it's famous because of White Hart Lane (world famous home of the Spurs!).
