I guess this was kind of obvious, but worth noting nevertheless:

NFL help to fund Spurs new stadium

They've contributed £10m so far, mainly toward the conversions necessary to play NFL, but will continue to invest financially as well as making payments every time they use the ground.

Wish I could get my hands on a piece of old White Hart Lane, just as a keep sake, but I can't see it happening!

Daniel says that I have been bequeathed the 36 meter upright support that has impeded & distorted my view & perception of every home match for all these years.

I will bring it with me to each match at NWHL.

I bet you're looking forward to seeing it in real life eh?
Saw it at the spammers game, though it has moved on a pace.Still feel very sad though, and OFC i worry about how it will feel going to games in the new gaff.Seems we have taken every precaution to not have a sterile stadium, but TBH even a NLD at wembley doesnt even give me a twitch thinking about it next year.No doubt we will pick up a few ruperts and other toffs,as long is we arent overwhelmed by them, thank fuck they all headed off to N5.

I know what you mean, it doesn't matter how they design it, the ground won't have the intensity, the noise and atmosphere of a full WHL under lights on a big night. It needs to happen though if we want to stay as a top club fighting with the big boys in the future. The football we grew up with has long gone in the Premier league.

Its the 'soul' we need to protect. that's what Chelsea and City are lacking.

Is it
A) a crane
B)an entrance piercing the banks of seats of a theater, amphitheater, or stadium
C) a sky hook that hangs the terracing in place

I know! It was on Eggheads or something like that the other night, a vomitory is a place where you go and throw up after you have listened to one of them facist tory fucker spouting all the bollocks about how we need a strong leader to stand behind us while we all jump off the cliff, OR, it is an entrance/exit in an auditorium wot the Romans used to throw up in, but actually it don't got nothing to do with vomit, fascinating what you learn on telly eh? I think it might have been The Code, not Eggheads - or it might have been another quiz show, or I might have just imagined it, the voices are always telling me interesting stuff, except where my fucking slippers are, the cunts never tell me where they are.

Wow it's all kicking off everywhere....!! check the official site and Twitter, there's going to be a lot going on vs United on 14th May. Beg or steal a ticket.

This is properly historic proud to be alive for such a yuge beautiful moment in our long history of football and firsts. This will be another. Truly unique iconic club, still leading the way. Respect to Levy.

Very true Don.
It really makes me wonder what guys like YidNo1, who have/had an immense & intense hatred for Levy, think of him now.
The Spurs transformation is truly amazing.

No. Not unless he invites all the disenfranchised members to the party, the ones who couldn't get tickets but still paid their membership. He can fuck right off and spend all the money him and his buddy will make with the massively increased property values in N17 - which they own via some tax-haven in the Caribbean, and the money they have made through player dealing unlike every other club in the world who have spent a load of wedge, nah mate, can't stand the bloke. He can poke his tenner discount up his arse wrapped in his scarf and attached to his key ring.

As I have said a few times, I think every thing he does is driven by money, I would not invite him round for tea and cake, and I really don't like him, but there ain't nobody else so he is better than the alternative. It's like the upcoming election, do you stick with the right wing bitch who probably won't destroy the country because all the Tory toffs who own everything will get umpty when they lose money on failing stock exchanges and collapsing businesses or do you vote in a well-meaning nutter who will definitely bankrupt the place by giving every dole scrounger 2 swimming pools and a unicorn.

Ha ha, well you know the answer however distasteful. Levy has done masses of good within the obvious capitalist beast that he and football is these days, most notably providing jobs and regenerating the area - nobody else has after all. I'd rather the devil we know, than some socialist model that can't be found that works yet.

This football thing has changed so dramatically almost solely driven by TV money. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I think Spurs largely do things in about the right way trying to respect most tiers of fans. It's like running an airline. Those of us that sit at the back are cannon fodder, the people that make the company money are the those at the front of the plane.....the equivalent corporate box holders etc. at football clubs. In our brace new world there will be about 10000 premium seats and corporates with 51,000 other seats including travel packages, hospitality, and 40000 season ticket holders. They've got to finance £800 million somehow eh? For everyone's benefit and to move forward and compete. That's the case for the defence I guess?

Not sure how Barcelona and Bayern works where the fans own (at least part of the club) I like the sound of that.

Does anyone know if we will have Spurs ground staff next season or Wembley ground staff?
