The wonderful thing about diggers
Is diggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about diggers is.......

fuck all, they are cunts really.

Fuck! You'd expect the four horseman of the Acropoils to come riding out of there - Death, Famine, War and the itchy, sore arse you get after eating too much curry and drinking too much beer. Doomed! We're all doomed!

Doing better than this digger, was involved in building a new wind farm off the south coast. Then it fell into a hole and the tide came in, its been there for a couple of months and has been named Moby Dig

The two bastard wrecker diggers are now parked in front of the shelf. Silent. Their little worker diggers are clearing away their wreckage from what was the North Stand. It's totally gone.

Bit of poetry anyone? (credit - Nikhil Chandri)

END OF AN ERA
It's only the start now
...a road yet unknown
At times the whisper of other steps
...sometimes we walk alone

The best start of our lives
May at times cry in sorrow
But even on our deadliest days
The sun will shine tomorrow.

So we must do our best
Whatever time may bring
And look beyond the winter chill
To taste the breath of spring.

Into each life will come
A time to start anew
A new start for each heart
As lively as morning dew.

Though the responsibilities of life are great
And palms are bowed so low
The cyclone of time will leave behind
The beauty of a rainbow.

Time will never take away
Our chance to start anew
It's only the start now
So the beautiful dreams can still come true.

Eeyore, the old grey Donkey, stood by the side of the stream, and looked at himself in the water.
"Pathetic," he said. "That's what it is. Pathetic."
He turned and walked slowly down the stream for twenty yards, splashed across it, and walked slowly back on the other side. Then he looked at himself in the water again.
"As I thought," he said. "No better from this side. But nobody minds. Nobody cares. Pathetic, that's what it is."

ODE TO HEATHER (by PMcartney)

We stood upon the burning deck
her lips were all a quiver
I touched her tit
her leg fell off
and floated down the river

They ain't hanging around are they.
No mate, you get a crew of them Polish lads in things get done sharpish and for very few quids. They have got a proper work ethic them boys, who the fuck is going to do all the handyman stuff like knocking up a stadium when we kick them all out? Oh yeah, we've got all that British workforce just waiting to do a fair days work for a fair week's money.

Seriously, it is amazing how quickly it's happening, there's 14 months to go before the start of the 2018-19 season I reckon they have it sorted well before then.

Aye, I was just about to say I wouldn't be too surprised to see them start the foundations for the new south stand, but just checked the cameras and a bloody big hole has appeared and they appear to be holding up part of the Paxon metal work with a crane now?

They have started doing some of the piling, most of the south stand is a steel construction, when prepped it will go up quickly they say.

We might be buying raw material, or goods and services in from the Eurozone, or from countries where the pound has lost value.

.. or maybe countries where the pound is strong and stable and has 'bounced back' like the Brexperts told us it would? Nah, just pulling your leg, the pound is only worth a pound in Little Britain and even here it's probably only worth 57p. This is a very slow bounce.
