Had about 5 emails about 3 tickets for friends etc. I'm very surprised about the situation getting this bad. I'd of thought this game would max out no problem.
Kind of reminds me of that part in 'the social network' where Facebook goes dead for a minute and the lad that founded it is going mental. No one understands why until he says if you lose people's interest you are fucked. Kinda what's happening here.

I get that but end of the day i have supported spurs for 38 years watched some shit in that time, this is one of the best teams we have had in that time, so to me that should be interest alone, I understand money aspects and travelling.
I would be interested to see how many complain if tickets are at a premium for a cup final if they miss out on loyalty points

Loyalty points is fair comment,but honestly away tickets is pretty much a closed shop every match to those who always get them, especially now they are £10 or £20 a game.No wonder people buy and then collect points,try to shift them on,but loyalty points is another thread really.

Agree but a 33k allocation of tickets for a Cup semi final/final isnt. So if the stay away people miss out because of the lack of interest of wembley.....

I see where you are coming from, but for me going to a 90 minute football match is a 2 day event like when we met (the game escapes me) or a very very long day if times allow. Unfortunately I don't enjoy being in Wembley nor do I enjoy the journey to it (7 hours both ways). The atmosphere is stale. Not due to support just the shape of the stadium. I support spurs as much as any man, have seen as much shite as anybody and love our current team.

My problem is I have a very high understanding of engineering and construction, which is where my negative feelings and lowered interest come from at the minute. Levy robbed us, knowingly and I'm just not ok with it. As it stands I spent a fortune on travel arrangements in September for Liverpool at new WHL and it looks like possibly next March now. That doesn't just happen. It was known long before.

To be honest im a special case and loyalty points mean nothing to me as I can't get over as much as I'd like. Obviously getting to a final would be lovely, but it'll always be out of my reach.

Basically the long and short of it is, I love our team and manager, but I was taken advantage of because of this (in my opinion of course).

Fair points mate. If I lived closer I'd go to Wembley more tbh as the team is pretty, pretty good these days but I just don't wanna go through it all to be at Wmebley.

The interior of the bowl is finished, the exterior is also as good as done. It the other parts in between that are not nearly done yet.

The club promised an announcement early december,IMO that means;
A)event tests announced for most likely early january (they said 4 weeks notice previously)and then 3 weeks after 1st match (working on the previous timelines to organise&ticket/staff etc) and most likely a confirmation of Man utd at wembley.

B)Further matches in january added to wembley commitment and another update in january to come.

On the train on way home at last, just read message in full and I need to reply to him really. To put everyone's mind at rest the target for test games is in Jan, with fire marshalls being in place as a temporary measure. Which will be signed off, yes to me that is doable.

The last page has a few 'internal shots' and it looks like we might not be far away, judging by the state of completion of the furnishings. Can't speak for safety and fire systems etc. Manchester United or Arsenal as first game would be my guess.

think its already too late for man utd now.Test event would have to be held before xmas and everyday that passes without announcing makes it the more unlikely.I reckon early feb if the same timelines are followed as back in the summer and if the club are permitted (at the earliest).

The missus and I were in the Bobby Moore Room for the game last night. She's a chatter (I was quietly reading my program). Anyway, she got talking to our nice waiter who has worked in sports catering / hospitality for 20+ years at mainly Wembley, Emirates, WHL and London Stadium. He receives work rotas from all grounds / clubs and has to confirm which dates he can, and can't do (I presume via an agency but he didn't say).

Anyway, I pricked my ears up at this point. He said he's had very little info from Spurs until a few days ago. He has nothing firm now. But he's been told to plan for Newcastle (02 Feb) as the most likely date. However, Man Utd (13 Jan) is still possible so to remain 'on standby' if he can. Watford (30 Jan) is less likely for the usual reason about not starting with a night game (transport concerns) but is also possible. In sum, the unofficial view from the bar staff is probably early Feb.

A waiter,chatting to a wife,guessing, which was overheard And posted on a forum.Seems legit.
Until I see it with the logo of doom from the club I wont hold my breath even though I would love it to be true.

The logo of doom, still won't be enough. We will only know for absolute certain when Hugo walks out holding hands with a tiny person beside him and 10 others following and we've all just paid £8.95 for a craft beer in a logo'd recycled but THFC logo'd plastic cup. That will be THE moment.
