WTF? What is he doing? Hasn't the Poch learned anything? That's it, our season is over - whoops sorry, wrong forum!

Some folks think the bench is weak apparently, Sonny, Vincent, Harry II, Wanyama - looks good to me! Harry I to get a first half hat-trick, bring on Vincent 'he scores when he wants' Janssen for the 2nd half and he can get a couple to shut the numpties up. Sorted. Opening up a bottle of Brew Dog 'Elvis Juice' now and looking forward to a great game.

Solid if unspectacular start, a very impressive half from K W-P though and if the last couple of months have shown me anything with regards to football, it is that i've missed watching Moussa D with a football at his feet!

Not one for the neutrals so far, lacking a bit of inspiration in the attack. Still pretty much clamped down on them, think we'll get a couple in the second half. Nice welcome to the PL from Harry to that French CB of theirs.

Important to win with Chelsea next week, we could be 6 points clear of our rIvals

Haha, cheers for that Jonjo.

Eriksen was very good throughout and especially when they went a man down. Very businesslike performance from us, Newcastle looked awful.

Nice easy warm-up, no point going mental when the game was in the bag, all the players will be nice and ready to thump the chavs next week. The early season Harry-Hoodoo strikes again, he misses 2 sitters and hits the woodwork, 4 season wonder. It's good to get the first game won, especially against a banana-skin team like the Toon.

A deserved MOTM award for Kyle Walker-Peters, he's much better than that other bloke whose name I have forgotten.

What a wanker that Shelvey is. He even look surprised when he got the red card. Dele seems to have sorted out his anger issues, he just smiles at the cunts when they hack lumps out of him, gets on with the game and scores goals. The toon fans were funny booing him for being stamped on - ok it was a girly stamp, but totally deliberate and totally fucking daft.

We go ahead of the scum in the table! Let's stay there the whole season, that would be nice.

Welll back at watford, still got 1.5 journey then home.
Great weekend away with the boy, stayed in Sunderland, went to SOl and loved how close and welcoming the pubs were to the ground, most allowed Spurs fans in, and a lovely group meeting of Spurs and Newcastle FLA fans .
The one flick from Erickson in the second half was worth the Tesco timealobe, EXQUISITE , Shame nothing dame from it.
Was shocked at how quiet every area of the ground was, even when we weren't singing, couldn't hear a peep.
Now I've looked through all of our accedemy players and have yet to find KWP' S younger brother Danny Rose Peters ! Shame cause KWP, was impressive today ! He'll be in Levys office demanding a pay rise from 10k a week to 40k or he'll want out I'm sure ( tic)
Could be worse, but with Chelsea's and West Ham losing, it really couldn't be too much worse...
Onwards next week it's the Chavs, andim away on holiday ! Gutted

Guardiola bought a RB for £50m to be MOTM. Pochettino coached one to be MOTM.

Lovely to see Kyle Walker-Peters taking a photo of his man of the match award on his debut. A little innocence In a game of mercenaries

Nice to see Dele didn't make a meal of it either, just basically said "Ouch, what the fuck?" and got on with it.

Well,no reason to be down beat after an unspectacular but successful start.Plenty of positives, not least V good debut by KWP,Eriksen has started as he ended last season,Dele not in his stride yet but scoring again, defence is as you were.
Different test next week, but Son,winks, wanyama all getting on after injuries, trippier&rose another week nearer recovery, and being around the top helps sustain any challenge even if it means only top 4 again. No doubt their plan was to park up at home and counter, played very narrow and deep, but we remained patient and solid, shelvey going off just made it happen quicker, think eventually we would have got a goal anyway, its what we have been doing since last xmas bar sunderland away.
Could it be continuity gives us a head start the 1st months as all these new signings bed in elsewhere?Hope so.

Good start to the season from the boys. Kane had a couple of chances to make lead even bigger and on another day would have have. I feel we had another gear or two to go up but didn't need it in the end. Big shout out for KWP on his league debut MOTM performance. First clean sheet of many I hope too! Next up Chelsea! COYS!!!

That's the thing mate innit? Why bother going up that gear and risk injuries, exhaustion and uncomfiness when we have a huge potentially season building game next weekend? We won the game comfortably, never any danger of us losing, yes of course it would have been nice to repay their 5-1 thumping of us but it's them there 3 points that really matter! There is some moaning in the other place - "we'll won't beat the chavs playing like that" - duh, of fucking course we won't, but despite their retarded view that they know better than the Poch, he does know that and we will see very different tactics at Wembley.

I reckon that was a measured, professional performance, just what was required as a settler for the beginning of the season. That first game is very important, we have an iffy record against the toon, a 5-1 thumping last time we went there in the Premiership, losing that would have been demoralising, so HM The Poch used exactly the right tactics to win and get our season off to a great start.

I have read some total bollocks about how we 'must win' against the toon and the chavs or our title challenge is over, what the very fuck? How the fuck can anything be over after 2 fucking games?

It's a really weird atmosphere in there. For such passionate supporters outside the ground all they do is jeer and boo once they get in their seat.

Glad you had a good time!
