Decent last 10 minutes, but again, we look clueless in all phases

The actual toll is not just those 45 mins. I'm actually aging at 10x that rate watching this club.

My god this is the same shit we got at the weekend... Misplaced passes, no obvious plan, players shit scared to try and make a difference and long fucking throws...

Lost track of how many times we’ve turned the ball over in our own half

There's no plan going forward...

Get touch tight to Kudus and he'll play it back the way he is facing...

Show Johnson inside and he'll play it backwards... Muani is getting scraps...

Bergval trying to break the lines but he can't do it on his own and when we do get in their final 3rd we play it backwards, inevitably to Vicario to pump long to turn over possession...

It's fucking garbage...

I know they're a bigger side... But have we got past the first man once this half with a cross...

Yes... Romero just got to one... Get it.

That was a brilliant header and like @Yid was suggesting we just need someone with the will to stick their head in and get on the end of one of these crosses

Stopped the rot, means nothing if we don’t beat Brentford

Yeah, if anything Brentford are a better team than Newcastle at the moment. Hard to know what to make of this one. Absolutely devoid of quality except a few flashes from Bergvall and Kudus for most of the game, but we didn’t roll over for them, and always good to see the captain rise to the occasion. In the end a good point away especially under the circumstances

Right lads, got my Spurs pyjamas on, Spurs slippers, and drinking Holsten from a Spurs pint glass.

Not great when you have to revert to Sunday league tactics by chucking a CB upfront to do the job of £130m worth of strikers...

That was just as turgid as Fulham... But we for a point.

This will be a controversial take, but I thought Bentancur was quite good yesterday. Gave away the ball a few times, but more because he was stranded than due to ineptness. Laid the body on Joelinton once, even tried to make some progressive passes to Bergvaal and the other (anonymous) forwards, and got up and down a fair bit.

Bergvaal: also good but stranded
Danso: quite good (no, not that good)
Kudus: gash, the assist nothwithstanding
The rest: pretty shit, even Romero

watched for like 5 minutes in the first half and heard
"Newcastle are far more the dangerous side, Spurs midfield aren't even looking forward. The strikers are begging for the ball but left asking what else they have to do to get a look at it" or something like that

Yes, believe it was Stephen Warnock saying that. He was especially (and rightly) critical of Bentancur.

At the same time, when the forwards did get the ball, it didn't stick, or tended to go straight back. Nobody playing on the half-turn ready to go forward.
