This might sound nuts, but if we're going to appoint an Arry or Sherwood type, then why not just go hat in hand to Ange? He's positive and the players love him, which at this point is all we need.

Because we fucked the guy over once and he has too much self respect to come back for seconds.

He doesn’t need us. He’s far too good for us. And he’s been vindicated. The fact that this great man won a trophy for our club is testament to what a great manager he is.

He can, and will do better than Spurs.

There’s one silver lining at least.

If we do go down, the Dark Lord will lose about £200m.

His 30% stake of ENIC will mean that he’ll be directly affected if(when) the valuation of the club goes down the toilet, especially since he’s currently being prevented from selling his shares at the moment as well.

I know you're being facetious, but there is no upside to relegation... We mocked West Ham about potentially having their shit hole Olympic Stadium in the Chumpionshit...

And now the best stadium in Europe is going the same way... Take a bow Daniel Levy...

I never, until last night considered it a serious reality.

It very much is now and we must be favourites out of those not already condemned...

If you can forget about the result (I know it's difficult),the performance before and after the sending off was at best, hapless... There was some energy before the red card, but it definitely looked as if all of them had been told to go and try and create something... Do something, anything to affect the game positively...

Tel, constantly running down blind alleys and sometimes beating a player... He's been way more cautious than this before and once he fails he usually reverts back to the safe pass inside or backwards...

Poro seemingly wellying it into the box at every single opportunity he could (to no cunt as per normal)... He is a phenomenal crosser and he is more measured than this...

VDV, breaking out from the back wayyyy more than usual and as part of a new version of our cobbled together defensive lineup was not totally normal... He'd usually be the last man and so does this a couple of times a game... I counted 4 breakouts (while he was on the pitch) that all came to nothing which just left him out of position...

Archie was the best player on the park again for us and he was finding himself higher up the pitch that usual... He is usually very central and overly in my view, defensive...

And while all the above is moderately positive, they were all in isolation, there was no tactic that if VDV bombed out it was the trigger for this to happen or someone to make a run, or someone to maybe sit because he was off on his travels... It wasn't cohesive or thought out is what I'm saying...

There didn't seem to be a plan or any coaching to it... I couldn't with confidence telling you all of those things I've mentioned and more were coached, and didn't just happen because the players wanted to try something, anything...

Put it his way, we didn't practice Tel blindly running at players and losing it every fucking time because if we had have ran that drill in training, it would have proved unsuccessful very fucking quickly and been stopped in lieu of something more effective...

This is the part of it all that actually terrified me because I see nothing to tell me shit has changed, in fact it tells me it's actually got a lot worse... Under Frank we were shit and boring but had plays and just couldn't execute our vision... Under this guy we're making it up as we cross the white line and at the absolute elite level that the Premier League is... That philosophy will not survive contact with the enemy for long at all...

I don't see a way out of this, I don't see us beating anyone with those "tactics" if you can call it that...

I am in the it's mental to change the manager again now camp, but at this point we maybe need to do something mental to try and survive...? Can't even believe I'm typing that, but all bets are off, we're getting relegated if we don't pick up another 6-10 points and I have no idea how that happens with performances like last night...

I'm afraid I agree with all of this.

I think the only small chance we have of crawling ourselves out of this relegation hole is maybe give the Champions League a go. Pressure will be off and some good performances there may be the only way this team is going to get any confidence back. The only way we can create some joy and then maybe some hope.

But I am not hopeful.

We need to get Arry, Keane, or even Sherwood in now. It was a moronic appointment. Whoever thought bringing in a coach with no sustainable achievements or merit at any club and zero experience of the PL needs their head tested.
I fear it's already far too late for us to stay up looking at the fixtures but it's worth a proper try.
Talking about why, how or what if, is irrelevant at this stage. We are where we are. We've got 9 games to save our club from the unthinkable but in all honesty, probable.
Richy, Simons and Gallagher have to start against Liverpool. Especially Richy. He'll fight at least.
Our players, with the exception of Gray, Richy, and Solanke have shown nothing for me to think we've got a chance.
The rest of them that are available dont give a fuck. They're already planning their next move, the agents are already busy...they don't like booing, they don't like disapproval and criticism.....that's not fair to them.

Gentlemen, i give you the conclusion of..
The Enic legacy.

I agree with @Dave. I keep waiting for the news that Tudor has been fired, but no luck. He is not going to turn this around. Anyone can see that. Whether it's his fault or not is irrelevant. The house is on fire and the board are still dawdling. They need to wake up or we're gettig relegated and could risk bankruptcy if we don't come right back up.

I agree. A good performance in Madrid, and maybe a couple players returning, could lift the mood and carry over to domestic games. If we get humped on Tuesday, we sink even deeper.

It's a dilemma really because we have to throw everything at the Forest game but I do agree that a good win in the Champions League could be just the boost that they need.

We aren’t beating Atletico lads. Let’s live in the land of reality, shall we?

Fuck this club.
