Ok mate I'll put in an application, Remind me nearer the time, I've got 2/3 for Chelski next week, so taking Callum, but I won't take him to West Ham, even I. Ugh this not go, but probably willI've made the offer on twitter I'll do it here 100quid to anyone who gets me a spammer away ticket
It's in may one of our last games but your on money up frontOk mate I'll put in an application, Remind me nearer the time, I've got 2/3 for Chelski next week, so taking Callum, but I won't take him to West Ham, even I. Ugh this not go, but probably will
I thought he was our best player in the first half, which was as you say pretty poor. In some of his appearances as a sub he's looked a little tentative to me, but not today--he was confident on the ball and aside from a couple of miscommunications with Moussa (he nearly clattered into him with a challenge once) I thought he was brilliant.I only saw the first half, which lets be honest, was a bit of a struggle. That was enough though to tell me that, despite the poor overall display in that 45 minutes, Winks is more than capable of holding his own in the first eleven. It was the perfect way to ease him in, surrounded by experience to help him along. I'd like to see the same happen with Edwards when he's back to fitness.
Janssen was in my opinion 2nd only to Winks yeterday. His strength, vision and the execution of his passing was top quality, In the PR thread everyone agreed that Winks, Janssen and Kane were the top bananas., it was a regular mutual willy fiddling session, no disagreement at all. Vincent's great shot was well stopped by Randolf leading to Harry Junior's goal.I thought he was our best player in the first half, which was as you say pretty poor. Janssen, on the other hand, still can't get it together. I think he has the tools to be a good PL striker, and as I've said before he contributes more than Bobby or many of our other struggling strikers did in the past, but I'm starting to worry about him a bit. I'd actually be curious to read what some that have seen him in person have to say about him. Can't fault his effort, but we need some goals out of him. On the other hand, if he did hit a run of form, we'd have a pretty formidable strike force.
Just good to see that you'd posted after that game, or have you not watched it yet ! After all we can't have another heart attack, after all the shocks you've had so far this year(Brexit/Trump)
But the train ???? Cock womblesOwn up if you walked out after 85 minutes.
As you know, M8 I will never leave early and have stayed to the bitter end on more than one occasion but that was a glorious stay to the end yesterday. The guys next to me left with 20 mins still to go with the parting words ''we are off to the pub'' They should have saved their money and got intoxicated on our late goals. Two other guys in in front left at 80 mins which was great to see, as we have a habit of scoring when they leave early. They must have heard the Spurs roar from the High Road.Own up if you walked out after 85 minutes.
thats all West Ham fans have left now....a bit of cheap fighting, they've lost their soul, their stadium, their identity and their football of old...they even fight with each other, gives me something to doAs you know, M8 I will never leave early and have stayed to the bitter end on more than one occasion but that was a glorious stay to the end yesterday. It was one of the most frustrating games this season. Eriksen was terrible and I'm sure no player has had so many groans directed at him in one match. Yes, he had a few good touches but he needs to get back to what we know he can do. Harry Winks was bright throughout and I have a good feeling that this lad could be another 'One of Our Own' Loved his run and man/son hug with Poch. The introduction of Son and Dele increased the tempo and was game changing/winning.
The Spanner fans are the pits and were causing trouble outside the ground before ko. I would rather have the Arse fans any day.
We said exactly the same yesterday.thats all West Ham fans have left now....a bit of cheap fighting, they've lost their soul, their stadium, their identity and their football of old...they even fight with each other, gives me something to do
Mike Dean is the referee....from memory he reffed the game last season when we won 4-1, anyway amongst a crop of poor referees he's decent and seems to like us....hope the result is the same.
I think that was him celebrating his own decision to 'play on' with advantage....bloody funny nevertheless, there's another one like this somewhere when we scored at Arsenal a few years back...
I know its stating the bleeding obvious but he gets more and more impressive everytime i listen to him. That was a pretty tough 5-6 weeks that weve come thru and lesser men may have shown some weaknesses. He strikes me as the sort who embraces defeat and success in equal measure. Although his face did light up on the topic of Winks and the academy. I think Pochettino and us are a great match
Yeah fair enough. I actually watched the game (or at least the extended highlights) again this morning and will happily admit he was better than I gave him credit for. Just want one to go in for him, I guess.Janssen was in my opinion 2nd only to Winks yeterday. I am not even remotely worried about him, even if the flood of goals I am expecting does not arrive, if he carries on playing like he did yesterday and has done so far then he'll do for me.
Mate I know you're not actually Greek, but pretty near as makes no difference, so tell me, when they sang 'I'm forever blowing bubbles' - did they? You can tell us, we're all mature adults, well adults anyway.Ok here`s my official match report...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Hands up,I just loved the result, but who wouldnt??we played how we played, but we won.
Awesome, when will these trumpets who walk out before the final whistle ever learn?best 3 mins in decades, especially with their is this a fire drill song just as we scored the second,i never seen the away mob empty so quickly at full time, fantastic.
We were in the brown eagle 45mins before kick off, right opposite the entrance to paxton and west stand under the new stadium when the escort went through, there was a bit of handbags, easy when you are safely behind the old bill, there were a few skirmishes just after from stragglers not in the police escort, but really it was kids just doing danny dyer impressions, dont really know or heard if it kicked off at park lane, they def wanted to make the most of their last trip to the lane. The result pretty much meant they were outta dodge PDQ and didnt see anything post match.Much beer was drunk afterwards and many songs sung, turned into a 12hr bender, but i needed that i can tell you!!
