Anyone getting up early for Sunday's match?

Sunday 26th July - 4:30am Auckland Vs Spurs (NZ)

Wed 29th July - 10:45am Sydney FC Vs Spurs (Sydney)

Sat 1st Aug - 10:45am Chelsea Vs Spurs (Sydney)

Well I missed this morning's game but the other two could be do-able.

By all accounts Tel and Takai were two standouts earlier.

I heard Archie did very well & captained the team.

Lots of flat direct balls from CB into the midfield and strikers to hold and play off of...

Not sure the strikers we have will cope with this if it's our tactics... They couldn't hold their fucking breaths for a few seconds let alone the ball when we needed them to last season...

Archie did well, Lancashire had a solid game.

Only watched the 2nd half as my Tele box was being a dick...

70mins in and this 2nd half is a tough watch...

Some of these kids don't look anywhere near where we'd like them to be and the new faces are anonymous right now.

I've watched 2 of the games from this tour and I don't see the "tactics" of a RDZ team...

In fact I don't see much in the way of patterns of play...

I've watched 2 of the games from this tour and I don't see the "tactics" of a RDZ team...

In fact I don't see much in the way of patterns of play...

Just friendlies, mean fuck all.

I thought you could see the whole "baiting the press" thing that RDZ teams do in the first game. Could only see very limited highlights of the second.

But yeah, not much to read into these games. I'm just wondering if there are any of the younger players who might force their way into his plans with all these new arrivals.

Me neither tbh. I've said for years now that I'm almost as annoyed about the lack of young players breaking into the first team as I am the shitty transfer business.

I dunno ...it's a Friendly but he definitely tackled him.. But it was still World Class how he megged himself ... Kinsky was impressive in the highlights I saw ..

Kinsky was great. Funny how Vicario's name has pretty much completely dropped off the radar.

I did read something earlier that made me laugh. Apparently since Danso is so World Class, he wanted the team to practice playing with 10 men in pre-season just in case ..

The way Danso convinced The Chavski player, simply by running unfathomably slowly, to force Danso to commit a foul on him, was truly inspirational...

All after, as you say, nutmegging himself...!!!
