I hope we don't go to Filbert Street as we might miss the game.

yeah, what is it called now? the red bull arena? grounds shouldn't have to change names but i guess that's progression hard at work. i think a bit of the club dies when it happens (white hart lane = dave's burger van dot gov?)

I'll be pissed off if the best stadium sponsor he can get is Dave's burger van!

Suppose we might get to have a stadium name of Dave's burger van at White Hart Lane though.

At least I won't have to be on the train at 6.30 in the morning knocking back Stella's this time. Was fucking hammered last time round I've been told. I must have been cos I sat in first class on the way home and the ticket bloke didn't even question it and the tea lady was filling me up with free tea and biscuits between naps on the way back up north.

More good news, its really not their year...
http://www.bbc.com/news/business-39125665
Liverpool Football Club has fallen into the red despite posting record revenue.

The £19.8m pre-tax loss for the year to May 2016 was largely due to cost of signing big-name players and a payoff for Brendan Rodgers, who was sacked as manager in October 2015.

Liverpool signed 12 players in the period, spending £32m on striker Christian Benteke, who has since left, and £29m on Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.

"solid financial progress". :D:D

"We have seen continued investment in the playing squad, the expanded Main Stand, the new flagship retail store opening later this year, fully refurbished retail stores in Liverpool and Belfast, and we are consulting on a proposed development at our academy in Kirkby to bring together the first team and our young players," he said.

The club said it expected "significantly improved" results for the current financial year.
Lol,vs 2 cup finals last year,no europe matches, out of all cups in january, maybe not significantly improved results on the field eh!

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, speaking to BBC Sport:
"Listen, what happens on the field stays on the field. I'm not someone who attacks someone off the field. You have the TV, you can see the images. I jump up and jump high and he [Mings] jumps into my elbow."

I keep looking at the league table and to be honest can't really believe that we are Chelsea's closest challengers, and the only team that have beaten them since something like September last year.

Anyone who doesn't think that Poch and the players have transformed this club are bonkers. Good luck today lads

Zlatan banned, Why do I feel 3 games is not enough
Because he's a bit of a nasty cunt, but it was enough for Sissoko against Bournemouth and Mings had just caught his head with his studs....it's about fair enough and a decent progression from the days when John Fashanu was allowed to cave Gary Mabbutt's face in.

They're in trouble without him, cant see the goals flowing against any of their three opponents (Chavs, WBA and Boro). I'm sure he'll be well up for that trip to Rostov though...

Mings gets a five match ban when the only bloke who can possibly know if that stamp was deliberate was him, that is a fucked up decision. The FA say the case was 'proven' - how the fuck did they do that, maybe they have mind readers with mind reading powers who read players minds? Mings says it was not deliberate and he doesn't have any 'previous' for violent conduct so that decision is fucked up. Rooney is a lying cunt saying he saw the so-called stamp - he was looking the either way appealing to the ref for some imagined foul (when he was tackled fairly),Zlatan was brought down by Rooney, giving Mings a little stroke on the arse with his boot on the way down then pretending he had been fouled when the 'stamp' happened.

It might have been a deliberate stamp, but that can't be 'proven' as the FA say, so the benefit of the doubt has to go to the player.

Zlatan gets a 3 match ban because he owned up to the crime - probably because it was so fucking obvious. He does have a long rap sheet of crimes against humanity, 10 red cards and countless assaults he has got away with. How can anyone take the FA seriously?

Some happy news at the top of the table coming up.....Manchester City have Liverpool at home this week, followed by Arsenal away, followed by Chelsea away.....Oh I bet Pep is giggling away, he loves a TV interview after a difficult game.

Middlesbrough have sacked manager Aitor Karanka after three and a half years at the club.

Boro are winless in their last 10 Premier League games and currently sit in the relegation zone, three points from safety with 11 games remaining.
