End of the day they had stability for two decades. Whoever comes in has a bigger job to fix than Moyes got with United imo. And United have been happy to throw cash at the problem.

Klopp with that great scouse sense of humour, what a nasty teutonic twat he is

The hosts were 2-0 down after 79 minutes - Danny Ings and Mohamed Salah on target for the Reds - before goals from Jake Livermore and Salomon Rondon.

"It was a difficult game as the pitch got drier and drier," Klopp told Sky Sports.

"West Brom decided not to water the pitch at half-time and that makes it difficult.

"It makes a massive difference. A team like West Brom do not need a wet pitch, they can do it next year playing on a dry pitch in the Championship."

West Brom caretaker manager Darren Moore said the pitch "was not a tactic" and was "the same for both teams".

"It was a hot afternoon - we watered the pitch before the game," said Moore. "The heat has dried out the pitch."

Chelsea just halved the gap to 5 points over the last 2 games.

They still have to play Liverpool and really, assuming that the FA Cup loss hasn't ripped the guts out of us we will get at least the required 7 points from our remaining 4 fixtures. Our goal difference should remain superior too, even allowing for a loss and a couple of comfortable Chelsea wins.

If we do not finish 4th or better from here then Levy should sell the lot of them and start again.

Good result for us though as only 4 points off Liverpool with 2 games in hand!

Let's take advantage of this result, win against Watford and then WBA....for once. That would be good.

I see Mourinho pulled another tactical rabbit out of his hat yesterday, by bringing Fellaini on rather than Mata, who Jamie Redknapp was calling for. Ok it's not rocket science bringing a target man on to punt crosses to, but it seems to work when he does it and doesn't when we bring Llorente on....ha ha.
