It showed neither team are confident and mature like a barca or madrid,both had stages of real panic defending and sloppy passing especially in the final 3rd.That is great hope for the rest,liverpool unbeaten they said oh why are they not in the league cup semi-finals?or did i dream red star belgrade handed them their arses?We battered them at anfield last year,in terms of play but only drawing,if teams give over on the mystique of playing these two and get into them,they arent ajax of the 70s,real/barca of this milleniumAC milan of the 80s,they are still quite fragile when questions asked of them.Fair dues to wolves for rocking up at wembley and playing for a win,could have easily been 3 down before we folded,but they got into us,unlike burnley,bournemouth,cardiff who came to contain.Its like me fighting Tyson,yeah he is going to batter me senseless,but if I dont try and hit him you really have no chance from the off.
City like us have fatigue and injuries,still in all 4 competitions,Liverpool havent had to play in the league cup,those weeks of midweek rest really help,they havent had injuries yet.They still have their wobble to come,if they had won yesterday their mindset would have been invincible,now the old bottling it of Klopps reign in 3 finals,slippy G gifting demba ba will surely be on their minds,pressure can do wonderful things but it can also destroy you mentally.Lets hope they`ve shot their load and fold.Their`s to lose,pressure is all theirs.

Don’t think anyone in their right mind would compare either team to the great sides you mentioned mate. Those teams were some of the greatest sides in the history of club football but just in terms of an isolated match, it was a joy to watch, not necessarily for the quality of football which wasn’t the best but just the way both teams competed and gave absolutely everything. City’s pressing of the Liverpool back 4 and midfield was tiring just to watch, especially for the first hour or so. Also helped watching it with my bro, who’s a City fan and the range of emotions he displayed was thoroughly amusing to watch.

It’s a tricky one with regards to teams coming and having a go at the big boys. It can work, if you’re disciplined and have enough quality on the pitch, then you can produce a performance and get a point or all three like Wolves but they’re a better side than Bournemouth, Cardiff and Burnley, with far more of a threat, especially compared with the latter two sides. You just have to look at what happened to Everton when they tried to match up with us, they got spanked.

With regards to Liverpool and City, yeah they are vulnerable but to be honest, right now most, if not all teams in Europe are vulnerable, if put under pressure and to put teams under pressure, you need quality and huge amounts of energy and stamina and that’s what stood out for me in the City/Pool game, both teams worked extremely hard. City have more quality thru their squad than Liverpool but Liverpool have real workhorses thru the middle of the park and the addition of VVD and Allison makes them more solid at the back and we know the quality of their front 3 but they pick up a few injuries, then could be very interesting. For me though, we have the best managed to team in the pl, we are so hamstrung financially compared to those two clubs, that to be only 2 points of City at this stage and to still be going in all 4 comps, is a staggering achievement, given all the crap that keeps getting thrown at Poch. All that being said, my head reckons City will get over the line come the end of the season but we’ll still be fighting so who knows!!

Way of the world mate, Money rules and it really sucks, we’ve had our hands tied, had to work so much harder and we’re the highest points scorer in the pl over the last 3 and a half years, yet the press and fans outside of our club, still mock us coz we can’t afford to buy a trophy, it’s pathetic! It’s cool though, we love our team and love the football we play, a trophy would be nice but if it all falls apart, then it’s been an incredible ride and a period in our club’s history, that we’ll all look back on extremely fondly. A system based on fairness and legal income is a ridiculous dream, it's almost as barking mad as the idea that a small independent nation can get better trading deals from the world by sticking two fingers up to the world's largest trading block and trying to lock in all the clever chaps and chapesses who will want to keep their precious freedom of movement, fucking loopy fucking loo, stark raving Radio Rental. I watch the Sunday Supplement most weeks and there's always a split when the journos talk about us and whether we can only be taken seriously as a side when we win a trophy and then there are the journos that say, they would pay to watch us every week and what we're doing with what's available to us, is more than enough of an achievement than a trophy.

It does piss me off at the lack of respect we receive but i think that's just derived from a heightened expectation because of what we've done over the last 3/4 years. I'd much rather have what we've done over the last 4 years, compared to being pretty average over that period and pick up a Carabao cup.

As a result I've been getting pissed in several European cities, enjoying us beating Ronaldo's Madrid and Auybameyang's Dortmund, Barcelona at Wembley and the Nou Camp. Stuffing the Chelsea's, United's Liverpool's and even City on occasion. North London is back in our grasp and the future is bright. World class manager and several world class players, that have been coached to greatness. It's all good in N17 and has cost less than £100m over 9 years.
