I know what you mean but this is not misleading. Since teams usually revert back to the mean in the long term, it suggests that things are going to get worse unless we start creating more chances because as bad as we've been, we've been sort of riding our luck.
Saying that, I feel like we've slightly turned a corner and are looking a bit more put together in the attack. Injury or two away from being back at square 1 though.

Just in my opinion a ton of sports is about luck, it's about momentum, it's about someone getting his groove or getting the yips.
Im not sure teams revert back to the mean, I think analitics revert the mean to suit the argument/opinion..
I understand teams have DNA but that's history and I think if you look, at for example our recent record against City , the analitics would trend twords us be like good ol Danso"world Class" . History is written and can be quantified, and in my opinion analitics tends to pick and choose the time range/control to support a particular opinion.
I guess Im just not completely on board with sports being a math problem...
You are right when you say we need to improve, we definitely need to be more creative we need to be brave... we need to get back to what Harry brought us , he was outrageous and a lot of what he did was outrageous. We need someone to be outrageous (it might be Luka)

Not a math guy myself but point is, that xG suggests we're not even as good as our league position, and that kind of fits the eye test if you know what I mean. BUT...might be alone in this, but I do think things are improving.

I was gonna type this exact thing... The data supports that were as shit as I am seeing...
It's bad lads, and yeah, I am the resident pessimist at this fucking point, but while I would suggest there has been a modicum of improvement in effort. We're phenomenally fragile and any semblance of progress could be wiped out with a few individual mistakes...
Getting humped by the Barcodes would set us back even further... Survival is the priority this season alongside an autopsy from head to tail of how we operate...
I don't expect either in truth...!!!
