The reason is that when the international break is over they go straight in to FA Cup matches and since we're out of that we get the extra week off.

I agree about the "hope" part but I'd add Leeds in the mix too. Their run in is easier than any of the others, but their last two games are against us and WH. Plus they have a FA cup semifinal in the middle.
