Strong case for Winks as MOTM in my opinion. If there was any doubt he's ready to be a regular starter it's surely gone now. Davinson looks like a veteran as well.

I was getting psychotic mate, not because of our players but the fucking ref! In the cold light of day we obviously weren't robbed, and despite what many numpties over in numpty-land believe we do get both kinds of luck and we got some last night. We always seem to remember the days when the other keeper stops everything and we couldn't score if the goal was 50 foot wide, we got on the good side of some of that luck last night. Of course luck has to be backed up with good performances and commitment and that happened last night.
We definitely shut up the wankebrainnumptycunts who say we don't deserve a place in the Champions League! We are top of the so-called 'group of death' after 3 games played, we have the same number of points we got in all 6 games last season - loverly fucking jubberly, if only we could get Arsenal in the knockout stages, it would be sweet to duff them over.

Absolutely mate, it's a little like Poker where you only remember your bad beats. We rode our luck at times but most teams need a bit of fortune to come away from there with a result, that being said, the luck wasn't all one way, on another day we could've had a pen and another goal from open play.
It was a wonderful night, I had no idea how it would play out, I feared a good beating but knew that if we were at our disciplined best, then we had nothing to really fear but for it to play out the way it did was just magnificent to watch.

What a cracking night and game of football. Either team could have won that but in the end a point a piece was a fair result. Some great performances all round but have to say Hugo and Winks were stars last night in my opinion. Although he gave the pen away and clearly has moments of irrational madness Aurier looks a good little player too, and Sanchez stood up to the biggest test yet. Really happy with the current team we have, when you consider the players coming back from injury we have done well to improve on a relative shoestring budget again.

Ronaldo while a cunt.... is one he'll of a player. So is RatfishBoy.... diferent level good. The bit that amazes me is this is the type of player i see Winks becoming.... What a fucking talent he is.

Yeah Ericsson looked average.... playing against one of the best midfielders over the last decade in Modric. Serge was a bit rash defensively... against fucking Ronaldo and Co...!!! He does need to sort that barnet out tho... it's ropey as fuck...!

Amazing times,used to be we`d get nervy watching us play newcastle or everton at home,fuck that now you only get those butterflies away to teams like madrid or home to dortmund,and we perform,and get results.My days this team is that good.

The Champions League is brutal for acting. The Prem is getting real bad to these days but champs league is a different kettle of fish. We are somewhat lucky as Pochettino was a heavy hitter back in the day and still wants that in his players.
Makes you wonder how rugby, American football, Ice hockey and Aussie rules players can live to tell the tale of their games the way footballers in general get on. Trouble is The refs buy in to it these days.

Football has always rewarded lets say teams/players for pushing the boundaries of truth.You appeal for everything,even if you know its not your corner/throw in etc,now with extra protection for players,diving,simulation whatever has just become part of it,its shameful and even with new regs,it ll never stop now.El classico is probably the worst example and most watched game,the few times i looked in for even a short period the amount of rolling around,clutching body parts,fucking worse than WWE.All pundits saying stuff like,he felt a touch so went over,the vardy leg drag over keepers,and so on being called "smart play",all condoned because its not about the sport,its all about winning.
