Tend to agree with the above that there has been glimpses of a potential side... But why the fuck wasn't this sorted preseason... That's unfuckingforgivable...
I still think we're a playmaker short and we're carrying lots of passengers in this squad with potentially more passengers added over the summer...
I also don't think we're going to see the type of football people expect a £400m investment to produce... I don't think we're going to all of a sudden start smashing teams, I don't think we're capable of going on a run of games or hitting form. I think it's going to be a long hard trudge of a season where we make minimal gains if any on our previous 2 campaigns and I don't know if RDZ survives that, even if it's not his fault.
The reason is that all the other sides are getting better, even the shit ones are much better and capable of a performance if you allow them one, and we're very allowing...
I think if the hierarchy think one summer of spending fixes our problems then they need to very much think again, because I could easily see another £3-400m ploughed into this squad to make a modest difference...
I don't think we're getting the football we want for a long while people and I think it's an institutional problem with the way the club is set up to simply keep milking the fans as hard as they can for the least investment possible... This summer was panic to the real danger of being in the Championship...
I don't think we clear of the sharks yet, and RDZ will obviously be the sacrificial lamb when it's starting to look wank again...
The club won't recognise let alone admit it's being run poorly because that would mean their jobs are in the line and while they are shit at their jobs they are not idiots...
