Emerson Royal - what a waste of space. Mrs D laughed when I was moaning about him the other night - then he scored that goal. Yeah right, I think his 'goal' was a weak-arsed attempt at a cross to nobody. that got a freaky deflection.

Everything was a bit shit last night, no atmosphere, a really poor performance and a deserved loss, how the fuck we got it to 2-1 up was beyond me. Emerson, Winks, Hojbjerg and Sanchez are not good enough, not by a mile. They're Watford level and their mistakes are costing us games and a lot of points.

Here's a couple of things Sanchez and Emerson gave the ball away 17 times, EACH. Saints had 23 shots on goal, 10 on target we had 3.

I think Conte knows those players aren't good enough, Levy must know it and I suspect the players do as well. We need to keep Kane, Son, Romero and Bentancur who looks like he might be very good this Summer and sign at least 3 quality players mainly in defence. They simply either don't know what they're doing or actually can't do it.

I wasn't home so I missed it and had to do with Match of the Day. When it was on first, I sensed something was up.

Even in that limited form, I saw enough of Saints to see they deserved the win.

Hojberg finally getting hooked could be telling though. That just doesn't happen.

Hojberg finally getting hooked could be telling though. That just doesn't happen.

As far as I’m concerned he’s been pretty average for much of the season. Seeing why Saints were happy to see the back of him for only £15mill, which isn’t much in this day and age. He’s so limited as a footballer. A half decent squad player but definitely not a starter if we want to start properly challenging for honours.

I never want to see him and Winks start another game together.

Totally agree, the lack of control we have in games stems completely from our limitations in midfield. I can’t remember the last time we completely controlled a game for 90 mins against decent opposition.
