Our best start to the season in 63 years. And we’re winning and getting results in a variety of ways. Happy days.

Massive rhinoceros dick I’d say.

Good win given the circumstances. Bissouma owes a debt of gratitude to his mates there.

Kulusevski was absolutely immense with his willingness to run the channels and hold up play when we needed him.
Agreed,

And while we wernt playing a top Prem side the lads who came off the bench also did a fucking great job of steadying the ship and shorting up the result...

Hoijberg was great, Davies was anonymous (which is a great thing) and Emerdhinio didn't fuck up and made @Dorset get a lob on...!!!

Who was the young lad, he ran his bollocks off for 5 mins...!!!

Great result that, not a stella performance but 3 points and an international break to get some players back to fitness.

Maddison's different class. Great gritty 3 points. "Spursy"??? Not anymore...
Indeed. Though I can admit among friends that the word did creep into the back of my mind when Bissouma got himself sent off…

A weird game in a way. Going from thinking it was going to be a cricket score to a battling performance throughout the second half and securing a deserved 3 points.

Gives us one of those eternally amusing situations tomorrow where the Scum can help us stay top over the international break by taking points off City. I'm sure they'll love to do that :)

Apparently Bissouma's two yellows today mean a 1 game ban, but it also still leaves him one more yellow away from another ban. I wouldn't be surprised to see him take a soft yellow at some point just to get that out of the way in time for some of the big games coming up.

Porro and Udogie were class again today as well.

Only watched from after our goal, but was a battling performance. Kulu was great, defense held, and Maddison is magic. Bissouma, that was a bad look. Hopefully he gets that sorted. Bring on Fulham.

Great win, hope we are top through the international break, and it's then realistic that we're still top in November
But whatever the future brings, am loving Angeball, COYS

Apparently the U18's and U21's are also top of their respective leagues. Can't really remember a time this ever happened.

Do you know if they are following Ange's model or not?

I heard the women's team are but couldn't give a fuck to be honest.

We're still a long way off the 60/61 team though.

Fucking hell pal give em a chance... we're 8 game in ffs...!!!

Personally, I'm happy watching football that doesn't make me want to self fucking harm...!

Winning games is a by product of playing well... all we have to do is keep doing what we're doing now, recruit players that make us marginally better, think of ways to play differently against different types of opposition and keep it entertaining the punters...

Big Ange and his Ange Ball is exactly what we always fucking needed... imagine the transition from Poch to Ange... it'd have been seamless... instead we went with some proper useless cunts and spent some time in the wilderness...

Getting back on track is where I see us right now... recruitment over the winter/summer is sooooooo important... how many times have we said that before...!

Apparently they are. I read a while back that basically the whole club are adopting his methods.

Part of the reason I didn't think Angeball would work is because of how poorly Poch did trying to implement Pochball after the CL final.

I think Ange himself says it is only October. It is a great base to build on though. Top of the league on goals scored. I think we need to start beating teams by 2+ goals regularly after the international break to have any chance of the title.

What I mean is, that 61 team beat average teams around them by 4 and 5 on the regular, which we need to start to implement soon. Hopefully the goons drop points at Chelsea under double agent Pochettino and we beat Fulham at home.

So we’re top going in to the international break thanks to the goons 🤣

Here's another handy stat ..

28 teams have been on 20 points after 8 games.

26 of those have gone on to finish in the top four.

11 have won the title.

Only 2 have slipped down lower than 4th. Ironically, one of them being Spurs :)
