Completely u deserved point. A team that got promoted were far better than us. We were slow and lacked movement and i cannot understand for the life of me why we need to play 5 at the back....shocking

We didn't start that way, we switched to it when Dier and Sanchez were getting manhandled by their two forwards. Then switched back to a back four at the end. IMO if Poch made an error it was not starting with a back three (or five, whatever you want to call it.)

I honestly just want to see a performance, whatever the result. I don't know what it will take at this point though. Personally I'd stick more or less with the core of players Poch picked for Red Star and Sheffield United, try to get the likes of Sessegnon worked into the squad, and see if they can start to play as a unit.

Yep, he looked solid when he came on, defence first, same as Davies on the other side. Will make us a much better defensive unit going forward.

When we are in possession we have no space out wide,no space edge of the box its Kane vs 4 or more defenders,when the opposition have the ball we defend so narrow you could drive a milk float down our flanks and expose us,frequently their #9 is one on one with a CB.That cant all be down to motivation/application/not signing contracts.
We are so stifled going forward and so easy to open up,that it isnt losing mojo,lacking creativity, something in how we are setting up is so wrong at this time.

It’s basically a perfect storm of crap. Tactically wrong and the players have an inability to pass the ball properly when in possession. To be honest, I’m at a loss understanding wtf is going on. We carry on like this and I think we’ll struggle to make top 10 let alone a Europa league spot. Poch talks about needing time to rebuild but on paper, he still has a very talented group of players there, and pretty much all of them are underperforming in a massive way. It’s up front i’m struggling with, I know defensively we’re a bit of a mess but we have some quality players at the other end and we’re struggling to create much.

Pack your defence against us and largely we haven’t got a fucking clue what to do, and then we lose possession coz we can’t string a sodding pass together, unless it’s backwards or sideways, and then come flying at our flaky defence. This isn’t really a new issue either, it’s been there for a while, it’s just that Sonny has scored a blinder or we’ve scored really late on or Harry’s bailed us out but our luck’s runout a bit and our issues have basically been laid bare. Fuck knows what’s gonna happen for the rest of the season, we’ll probably finish 11th and win a cup, i’d happily take that right now!

All this 'rebuilding' and 'philosophy' crap is doing my tits in. Think the simple truth is Pochettinos tactics have been figured out in a big way. After 5 years of doing the same things it's always going to happen. In amongst this we have lost intensity. We don't hound the opposition on the ball, and we attack like a rugby team. We never skip a man when we pass. Always goes through 3 men where 2 would do.

Pochettino needs to pick a team. Let them play for a few weeks. Get used to each other. Then remove a non performer. Play another week or 2 and repeat.

Liverpool are flying.. Why. Because they play the same fucking team each week! They know how each other play and they are thriving off it.

Luckily I watched the Leicester game after our shower of shit and realised I do in fact still like football. They are great to watch.
