Good stuff. Some excellent performances throughout the side - Davies, Romero, Sessegnon and probably my MoTM in Kulusevski.

Great start. More of the same please, especially against the Chavs next weekend.

If you're assessing for danger presented rather than damage caused, that's a straight red. But every attacker in the league is gonna watch clips of that and it will prey on rheir minds whenever they play us.

It took us 6 games to score 4 goals at the start of last season. Nice! Chavs looked shambolic yesterday, their defence was pony so I expect we'll get thumped by them again next Sunday - Nooooo! I am going to sacrifice a cat to the dark lord to guarantee we win. I probably won't sacrifice a real cat. Mrs D won't let me, but I will definitely look at the neighbour's cat in a very threatening way.

Emerson was very good I thought. I wonder whether Conte is thinking that he is worth keeping around as he does offer some versatility.

Sessegnon - fantastic game.

Kulusevski - is actually quite brilliant. Seems to have that intangible quality in that he creates space where there is none and has all the time in the world to decide what he wants to do. As an Aussie cricket fan, I equate him to Mark Waugh who always looked as though the game was unfolding in slow motion in front of him. Could Kulu play the Eriksen role? I suspect he could.

This bloody club always lets you down. We've already conceded one more goal than I thought we would this season.

Lovely game, only our megastars not hitting the heights yet, think those two were saving themselves for the double hat-trick next Sunday.

Once you get 3 points on opening day, it's job done. We played well and all without a new signing in the starting 11.
I thought Royal played well too. I'm not a fan and I would rate Doherty ahead of him, and would hope Spence gets his chance to prove himself in the PL too., but Emerson wasn't that bad.
The test to really see where we are is at the weekend. It's a massive game, even at this stage....

Nope. I keep hoping he'll prove me wrong, but he never does. It's probably just my dodgy eyes, Mrs D says I need to go to Specsavers - I disagree, I only just got a new pair of glasses about 8 years ago.

I'm not really a fan either but I can see potential there and I can appreciate the guy is genuinely trying his best to be what Conte and the fans want. He's not a mug but he still needs a lot of work. There is a player in there somewhere.

But I do think he did well on Saturday.
