I subscribed for the same reason J Spurs did. It's a good way to keep track of them. And I've stumbled on some interesting stuff as well. It's really the only social media I allow myself (other than properspursy, natch).
SS if you want to use it to hone your craft, it's a great way to do it. It can be as low-key as you want, or you can actually try to build it into something bigger. But from what I'm told, that takes a lot of work, so be prepared to stay content with something small. Best of luck, give it a go!
