We do need a striker, but, I do think Richie is better than this. Ange is a good man manager, a bit like Arry was. An arm around the shoulder and a few words of confidence is what he needs and I think we've got the gaffer to do that. It's very early days...so all he needs is a little bit of luck and the ball to fall right for him and he'll be away...

In Ange we trust.

Good game and lots of good performances again. Sonny was quiet but he did put in a shift though so I can't complain about that. Sarr, Porro and Udogie all excellent.

I don't think Richarlison will get away with his behaviour being like that much longer with Ange. I get that he "wears his heart on his sleeve" but if he loses his head in an important game it could cost us dearly. I'm sure it will happen for him eventually though.

Half time in Goonville - and we're still top of the table. They are getting umpty them goons, they don't like it up 'em, let's hope there's lots of celebration going in in wherever the fuck Fulham is this evening. I've probably been to most of the grounds in the sarf of Ingerlund, but I have not never, ever been to Fulham - weren't Peter Wyngarde and George Michael keen Cottagers? If you remember Peter Wyngarde then you are very, very old like me - if you like really, really bad music, so bad it goes over into being brilliant, try listening to some of his tunes - maybe start with William Shatner and that bloke with the funny ears, then build up to really terrible, so terrible it's great, Peter Wyngarde stuff.

I really enjoyed that game... we looked like a team who wanted to move forwards. A team who was growing in confidence and had a good idea about how they wanted to score goals.

Bosouma was great again and Maddison also showed the forward thinking creativity we have lacked since Ericsson left... we've never replaced him and while I don't know if Maddison can reach the level CE did, he is 100% the right mould...

Poro and Udogie were class for me today... super industrious, skillful and always looking to move forward and help out at the sharp end... Great end product from them both.

Vicario, Romero and Mick pick up another clean sheet and I think we saw Mick move the ball with a bit more confidence... he does have the Verts about him, but he does also look a little wooden at times... was nice to see him take control of the ball a little more and move with it.

Son, Richi and Kulu all did well, worked hard and contributed...

I still think these guys have to get a little more cohesion together but it's obvious they're starting to click with midfied as they are creating chances...

Richi is frustrated, that's obvious... he needs to keep doing what he is doing and it'll all come together. He is our No9 and I'm backing the crafty shithouse...!

As a side note, didn't we previously have a striker that failed to score until August from time to time...? Think he turned out OK overall...?

Kulu, I'm sure has more to offer and Son bears the weight of the captaincy which as an emotional guy will paly on him...

Overall happy and pleased with all the stats that show us working hard, playing on the front foot and overall taking the game to the opposition.

COYS.

That’s actually a good point. That other fella never used to score in August at all for quite a few years.

I was gloating too soon, got carried away with my godlike powers - I got Emerson and Kulu to score, and I have brought forth a storm here by just saying we hadn't had rain for 3 months, Mrs D says it has been forecasted for a week, but.. Even my awesome powers couldn''t stop a cheating bunch of cunts, the ref and VAR allowing the bastard goons a 2nd goal. VAR instructed to not overule shite decisions, I hate fucking VAR - and goons.

I was happy to see GLC today, I've always thought he could be a great player for us, but I thought the same about Bob the soldier.

Grrrrrrrr. Those initials have not been earned, I am nowhere near impressed by him yet.

Well I am not fucking typing Van Der Ven every time.

Fuck it, I am going to now have to come up with a whole heap of acronyms for our players. It will be known as Spurs Shorthand. I expect you to embrace the concept.

No, with all due respect - fuck off. Anyone who dares use those precious initials for this bloke until he has proven himself worthy will be sacrifced to Satan, sorry, I meant criticised and a letter sent to Santa.

I'm gonna stick with Mickey...

He's a bit of a post, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that he'll loosen up a bit... we've not seen this incredible speed yet... not even a burst of it...
