Sissoko is covering Doherty to be fair so that’s not a downgrade.
Taking Lamela off when 5-4 down makes no sense to me at all though. Winks is the last player we needed on the pitch when chasing the game.

Not sure that was Jose fault. I think the subs were forced due to injuries. He put on all our attacking players but it’s the individual mistakes and the missed chances that cost us
a couple of red decisions should have gone our way too
the fight and attitude was there for most of the players

In fairness, if there's ever a right way then THAT'S the way I want us to be knocked out of the cup. Great game, end to end. Throw everything at it and leave it on the pitch... Great to see for a change.
