I agree that sacking Ange after winning a Cup Final would look really bad to any future prospective manager. Give him next season, but if it starts as poorly as this season, we'll have to make a change. Just like with the guy from '08.

Furthermore, make significant changes for next season. Clear out the weak links & those that feel they're above Spurs & invest in some suitable quality.

In spite of how poorly our season has gone, I can't help believing how united these players are behind Ange. The way they celebrated the win with each other was quite telling.

This is fantastic. It's brilliant. The chance to lift a European trophy when we've been shite in everything else.

Don't agree with some of you lads regarding Ange and giving him another season though.
Utd gave Ten Haag another season off the back of winning the FA Cup...despite being found out as being out of his depth in the league. And they were much higher up the league than we are. That worked out well....

I like Ange, but this very much disguises how embarrassing we've been this season. We're 16th in the PL....16TH!!!
He's treated some of our best young talent like dirt like Spence and Gray and spent over €450m on signings...
I dont want to see anyone lose their job but I think we can get someone better.

But having said ALL that, I'd love for us as fans, everyone connected with the club, and especially Ange to have that day in the sun and lift that trophy. We all deserve it. Hopefully it'll happen and I'll applaude Ange for delivering on his promise..which would have to be respected and admired for what it is.
I remember Tony Parks save like it was yesterday so these days don't come around often, but hopefully May 21st will live long in the memory too...
And if Ange DOES get another season or two, I'd get behind him...end of.

I read something a week or so ago that said it would send a horrible message to any future managerial prospect if we did win the trophy and then immediately sacked Ange afterwards.

It said it would say that trophies don’t matter and that it’s all about the top 4 and the money from the Champions League and it’s not entirely wrong I suppose.
