Anyone who thinks we are potentially a top 4 side is off their head. No consistency. Brilliant one week, diabolical the next.
Too easy to pick off.
Not an excuse for the inconsistency but we’re showing the signs of a club lacking the squad to compete in multiple competitions.

My only worry is that Levy will listen to that loud vocal minority we have and bottle it if we have another few results like that. And what makes it worse is that we've got City next after the international break.

I think we've got a genuine chance of something this season with Ange and I certainly don't want to make a change but the Dark Lord certainly has form for fucking things up.

Other than the midfield three we have virtually no depth nor competition for places, and given injuries nobody you’d realistically expect to come in and change the game.

We’re like a bloody charitable organisation, giving away points to the needy.

Really wouldn’t be surprised if we finish where we are in the league right now. Look at the last 38 games played in the league, think it’s 53 points which would’ve been only good enough for 9th last season. How many players do we have, that consistently play at a high level for more than 2/3 games in a row?

You could be right but I can’t honestly see him lasting until Xmas

Also, Johnson should score in the first half and Solanke must score that chance at the end

Careful what you wish for, Southgate is available 😂😂😂
Don't give me nightmares

I'd much rather we hold firm with Ange but if Levy does pull the trigger then I think Graham Potter would be a decent shout until the end of the season to see what he could do.

I agree about Potter but maybe he isn’t keen on coming to us while Levy is in charge?

At this point I hope Ange’s job isn’t in jeopardy. Just about everyone other than Liverpool has struggled to find consistency this season. There are a lot of very good teams in the PL, maybe more than ever. Much harder to play poorly and win like the top teams used to be able to do.

Anyway, if the club are going to give the manager a fair crack of the whip it will take at least another window.

Also, I fucking resent getting up at 5am Melbourne time to watch that absolute cunt of a performance before I go to work on a Monday.

Ange isn’t looking after his countrymen one iota.

I think he'll be ok until we get knocked out of the Europa or League Cup. Then he'll defo be in the firing line.

Ange has been a breath of fresh air. He's a nice guy. We can't forget that. His philosophy on tactics has to be admired and respected....however...it doesn't work anymore. It has a very short lifespan in the PL because of the quality of the opposition. The high line tactic is great if you have a side that'll come out and play, but if you've got a side that are determined to stifle you and clatter you and plug the holes, we have no answer. That's because Ange won't change it.
Admirable but nieve.
Our midfield is poor. No steel at all, yet we sell Hojberg. That type of no nonsense anchorman midfielder is an essential part of today's game, yet we don't have one...and guess what, either does Celtic. No need for one up there because the opposition doesn't have the quality.
I hope he turns it around but I think he has to swallow his pride and be a bit more tactically diverse in order to grind out results when they need grinding out.

Having said ALL that. I blame Levy. He's done wonders in terms of the stadium, new avenues of revenue with the NFL and other events but it's the same old story on the pitch. A top top side with big ambitions to compete at the top does not buy Solanke. It does not have a keeper like Vicario, it does not sign Werner. It looks at a higher shelf, we never have under Levy.
