Glad I got up for this.
Very encouraging signs from the players.
Make-shift XI & played with effort & pride.
No way these guys are not playing for Ange.

People on twatter criticising Dragusin and complaining about Bergvall being hooked.

How do these fuckwits manage to put one foot in front of the other ?

Very entertaining game overall... They were great value for their lead even with the most fucking mental handball ever not being given...

Second half we should have done more and maybe done enough to take a point if not more... I'd wager that if we had then there wouldn't be many complaints either way as I don't have many with the way it went in the end...

Fans are bellends (including me) so fuck what those guys think...

Levy Out...

Glad to hear we put up a decent fight, thought it might’ve been a 1-4 type result with all the injuries/illnesses we had. Good to hear Moore and Richy are back next week. Really need to get some fresh legs back.

Richy better come back strong, in-form and playing the best football of his career.

Brave today. Can’t fault them.

The officials were disgraceful though.

Just out of interest fellas, how did Werner and Johnson play?

Werner was matched for pace by Livramento (bloody good player actually) so his primary weapon was nullified.

Johnson is little more than a tap in merchant. His goal output masks his overall impact on games. I don’t see what he offers aside from those late runs to the far post.

They’re both just not good enough. Think the whole fanbase think the same about Werner, and if we do end up making his loan permanent, then I give up!

Completely agree re Johnson, never been a fan of his, I was prepared last season to give him time, but he just hasn’t improved one iota since he joined. If he scores, which is obviously great but he’ll, as you say, offer nothing for the rest of the game, and as @Dave says he’s got very little interest in tracking back, and when he does, he’s a right pussy! He’s still very young but is there a player in there, I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see, doubt he’ll be going anywhere anytime soon.

The Werner - Livramento duel simply highlighted for me the difference between someone playing with confidence & one playing with lack of belief. Werner took him on early & he quickly realized his speed was matched. After that Werner wilted & did very little. Meanwhile, Livramento played like a beast both defensively & going forward.

As for Johnson, a tap in merchant: yes. Beyond that? I don't know. I don't see him offering much more than some speed. And it's not even blinding speed. He reminds me of that left back we bought from Fulham that was always injured. I saw nothing in him other than a bit of speed before we bought him & commented against buying him. Had little field sense & always went down blind alleys. Did it in the Championship but couldn't in the Prem. See similar attributes in Johnson.

It's amazing how much of a role confidence plays.
I firmly believe that Werner could not have achieved what he did in the Bundesliga on speed alone. He had skill, finesse, & ingenuity to reach the heights he did. It must be so frustrating for him to not be able to regain it. And it must do Ange's head in knowing what Werner was capable of & now being a shell of what he was.

Yeah, he’s definitely not going anywhere. Not after the fee we stumped up.

Levy, for the penny-pincher he is, just does not understand sunk cost fallacy. He won’t move Johnson on if he can’t recoup at least what he paid. I think we’ll have another N’dombele situation with Johnson, financially at least.

Every forest fan I talk to are almost embarrassed about how much we paid for him... They didn't get it either...!!!

All the same complaints we have with regard end product, footballing brain, physicality etc...

Yes, he is young and has time on his side... But he should be learning and showing signs of development...

Look at Gray... Play him anywhere on the park and he is assured... I wouldn't put Johnson at CB anytime soon... Although Ange may not have much choice if the treatment table is anything to go by...!!!

Honestly I don't think Gray is getting enough hype, mostly due to how things are going in general. He looks a different class to me.

Can Gray play the 6 position? I know very little about the kid, other than what he’s shown over the last month or so. Anyone know what his passing range is like?

Think N’Dombele is my biggest disappointment as a Spurs fan, maybe randomly, alongside Rebrov.

I believe that def. midfield is his natural position.
