It didn't set the world on fire, I agree. I do think there's more goals in this though. We need a better outlet down the left hand side to throw some balls into the box and we might get more.

Look we maybe be one up... But that's a shit half of football all-round...
I thought we did well to win the ball back so easily, but not decisive enough in the attacking third. Literally everything they did was the result of us fucking around in our half. Saying that, we did look a lot more energetic than before. The rest has done us a lot of good.

Get Sonny off... Also why doesn't Spence ever overlap Sonny... Hes rapid and has so many opportunities but always holds his run...

I think we have played better and lost in the last few weeks.

Considering we have players back, and I know they are not match sharp, but it has been a big disappointment

We are absolutely shite at picking up runners. Honestly, the marking is atrocious.

Poor from Tel…..

I always wonder about these players when massive European clubs decide to let them go.

Massively disappointed with that performance considering we had a week off and lots of players back. Maybe I hyped myself up too much.

Spence was excellent, so was Vicario.

First home win in 3 and a half months. First clean sheet in lord knows how long and 3rd time we've beaten United this season. First league double as well since something like the late 80's according to the commentary.

At the moment, a win is a win no matter how we get it.

Fairly tough watch but can’t help thinking, this chaotic football we play, just isn’t sustainable. We need a much better midfield and front 3, if it is to work. Can’t wait for VdV and Romero to get their asses back, so we can have a look at Gray in the 6 position.

Glad we didn’t pay £50 odd mill for Tel, first impressions are, he looks pretty average to me, very early days though. Take the win though.

Maddison is being very open in the post match about what the last few weeks have been like. Didn’t realize Roy Keane had a pop at him this week.

Yeah look. It's a well needed 3 points. But let's be honest, we're awful. But United are worse.
They could've scored 3 if it wasn't for Vicario but what really alarms me is that we just don't seem to be organised, especially at the back. Picking up at corners and set pieces is non existent. They must've had 6/7 free headers at goal from dead balls. That's got nothing to do with who's on the pitch, it's more to do with who's telling them who to pick up and where to be.
Sonny needs to be benched....he's done. We DO need a proper hard tackling no nonsense midfielder in there. Bentancur, Sarr, and Bissouma are simply not good enough.
We got the points, that's the main thing, but the quality of this squad is nowhere near where it needs to be, even when everyone's fit...IF we want to compete towards the top 4, which I hope we do.

It was a match between two struggling clubs.
Thankfully, we won.
We got 3 points from our first win at home in I don't know how long. Bonus was a clean sheet.
And I believe it is a longer road back for ManU. They've got some big issues to sort out.
We are on the better end today & in general.

Wasn't that bad really Ian Wright said he would make a big difference when he came back and Roy said he's not a guy in the changing room when he comes back that the rest of the team are going to say yes we're going to win now. He did go on to say he's a good player though.

We were very poor, but it’s hard for me to get too annoyed about the performance after the past couple months. Hopefully something to build on.

Amorim postgame: “I think the difference in the game was that they scored and we didn’t score.” Always a career in punditry for him if this management thing doesn’t work out.

Looked a bit wobbly today still but hopefully that picks us up a bit.

Spence is a really solid player. I like how he twists and turns his way out of trouble and drives up the pitch. He seems to have a serious stride in him!

Tel - should have scored today really but thought the was quite positive and pushed the team forward.

Vicario was good today positive having him back, which if I'm honest I didn't think I'd be saying.

Thought Bergvall and Bentancur was the best midfield pairing today but I'm excited to see Gray get in there.

I'll say this once and once only. I agree with Merson. He said today he hopes Gray stays in the first 11 even with everyone fit and i completely agree with that. I'm away for a shower.

Spence really needs to be promoted over Porro as first choice right back as well.

Spence on one side and Udogie on the other would, as the kids might say, "cook" ..

Even if it's just to give Porro a rest.

Beating United 3 times in one season and then losing to them in the Europa League final will be the ultimate Spursy thing ever and I think it would end me…..

Apparently Odobert completed as many dribbles in 6 minutes as Sonny did in the entire game.

he was a man possessed. every time he touched the ball he was running straight at (and beyond) defenders
