Especially in a game as put to bed as that one was... I don't understand why Werner would get the nod in that scenario.

Also I may just be a closet Psychopath but I don't feel sorry for him one bit... He is what he is, we knew that and so did he... I actually admire him for plugging away in the knowledge that... He just ain't at the races at all...

The only time Werner looks dangerous is playing against a wingback or a side who is prepared to got punch for punch with us and play high up the field... And even then the end product is usually bang average at absolute best.

Hehehe, I think putting Herr Werner on to kill the clock is perfect. Work the ball around slowly to him, put him in a few times, and the world stops revolving.

He blooters it at the goalie, hovers around whilst he picks it up, and yeah, another ten seconds are gone off the clock.

Thought we played well in spells today. We were brilliant as always for the first 15 mins, then again from probably half time on.

Worrying for Maddison that we look probably better with a firm 10 in place rather than the double up we have been playing. Kulu has been head and shoulders above him.

Solanke was good today but must be frustrating to not be on the score sheet of 4 goals.

Son though. What a guy!

Lovely to beat the Spammers. Lovelier to put 4 past them. Kulu is coming on well since being put in the middle, his favourite position apparently. Udogie is not a good defender but then again his natural position is wingback and a lot of credit for his assist, very tidy play.

When it was 1-1, I came to realisation that if we scored just before half time, we would probably lose but if we had to chase the game, it would suit us. The perpetual cycle of a game of two halves for us.

Really wanted to see Moore come on instead of Werner. After seeing Werner's performance, even more so. But he runs and he tries.

When he came to the club I thought, OK, it’s a free, what can it hurt. But yeah, hes standing in the way of Moore, and keeping the likes of Spence from playing in the EL.

Only saw the 2nd half & I was impressed. Took it to them early & from then on controlled the tempo of the game.
Massive improvement in the 2nd 45 mins from last time out.
