Foster with the lack of effort there.

We look knackered
He literally looks like it's a real chore for him to stand up... He shouldn't be anything but an absolute necessity... He's been nothing short of piss poor...

I can't help but think that's harsh as fuck...
It needs to be harsh,a coach thar stands on the line with his hands in his pockets, can't look the camera in the eye.The only people that come away from the lane right now are visitors, conceding girls at the rate we are is unacceptable

Would be great if we were conceding girls, but unfortunately we are a pile of crap atm. Truthfully it isn't a bad result. We are not a better side than they are. Pretty dead even, and i have no idea how Solanke fits ourr system. He has ability but not for how we play. With Mabbutt and Ossie watching and Levy sitting their in his giant stadium adverising tours, what was the fucking pont of building this thing? The novelty is already gone. Eventually even the tourists will want to watch t top side. Levy is a douche.

Switching managers does not instantly cure the injuries of 10 first team players.

Levy needs to back him in January with at least 3 reinforcements

Apparently Ange has said we had “no choice” but to play Dragusin even though he wasn’t fully fit because if he didn’t play, Ange says “I don’t know who plays”.

Clearly not the England U19 International Centre Back we had on the bench of course.

100% agree mate, but that won't stop him making his mind up about how to insulate himself from any form of criticism...

Ange as well as the others are falling guys at the end of the day.

Yeah, he's shown time and time again that he'd rather sack managers than back them. To paraphrase Ange, it's just who he is, mate. I do think this injury crisis is severe enough that he'll probably give him more time, but I also wouldn't be shocked to wake up tomorrow to find out we've sacked yet another manager.

Considering our state of being & Wolves on the ascendancy playing a far more dynamic style under a new manager, it was a fair result. Unfortunate that we couldn't hang on for the extra 2 points but I sometimes wonder about Forster. On numerous occasions over the past few games, he simply hasn't looked ready as a shot stopper. It's like he's not focused on the game. Really strange.

Five days off until the next game but we've lost Udogie & Bentancur for it.

Well apparently today's result, at least for this season, has pushed Ange below Christian Gross to become our worst ever manager.

Gross was in charge for 29 games and his points-per-game ratio was 1.31.

As of the first 18 games, Ange's PPG ratio is now 1.28. Over his full tenure, it's 1.58 which still only ranks him at number 11 on the list.

For interest's sake, Poch is the most successful with an average 1.90, Conte second with 1.88 and AVB himself third with 1.83.

I think he'd have been very concerned about fielding two teenagers in the back, which I guess is fair. Though Gray looks more composed than Dragusin.

I don't disagree but it must be quite disheartening for Dorrington to see a manager potentially preferring two midfielders playing in your position.

If I was Dorrington I'd tell my agent to get me the fuck out of here... Fuck this shit, get me into a championship starting 11 and watch me get a move back to the Prem in a year or two...

Pretty average performance really, but I have to admit I preferred our game management today while we were up. Kicking into touch instead of silly play around the box. Kicking short and long depending on the situation. Seemed a bit more focused on getting a result instead of going gung ho for the full 90.

Son shouldn't have taken that penalty. He's really struggling which is why I think he wanted it. Seen it as an easy way out of a slump if he scored but now it has the opposite effect.

Stand out thing for me in that game was when Solanke broke free. He didn't even remotely try to run central to bang one at the keeper he just kept going wider trying for a cross even though he was miles ahead of everyone else. Watched Diaz and Salah in these positions after against the hammers and they just drive central and welt it. Need more from him. He runs alot but he's not dangerous at all. He was unlucky with the one at the back stick though after a Timo cross.

Kulu again though. What energy he puts in driving forward. Just give the fella the armband take the pressure off Son.

I nearly typed this at the time but thought it'd look harsh... He did not anticipate the ball across enough... He wasn't at full tilt at any time moving towards the goal... And on my commentary they said the defender may have got a slight toe on it...

But I didn't think it was unlucky... He wasn't straining every sinue to get there akin to Gazza in the Euros against Scotland... He looked on his heels again...

To say I've been unimpressed is a collosal understatement... I read some bullshit click bait article stating he wants a move in Jan as we're looking at other striking options... Don't believe it for a second, but I read the whole thing looking for any shred of credibility...

Yeah I do think some of these lads just don't know what Timos going to do. Ball could go anywhere 😅 .

You may well be right I just remember it and seeing the slide etc and thinking at least he went with the right foot etc, but yeah maybe he should have got the gallop on quicker.

I'm unimpressed too to be fair. He runs about plenty but he doesn't ever look likely to score, especially one of those ones from nothing. More so because I've been banging the drum for both Watkins and Woods before they were even good and we never see it as a club. Have to admit though when I first liked Woods a few years back I thought he was about 30. Turns out he's not even old!!

Wonder if Richy is anywhere near a return?

With Solanke, he hasn’t been great. I honestly hoped that Lankshear would get a look in by now. Which brings me to the biggest thing that’s frustrated me about Ange, which someone brought up re: Dorrington as well. It’s that he’s consistently preferred clearly unfit or knackered players out of position over youth. If they’re not good enough, then OK.

But Lankshear looked decent in the EL, so surely he warrants at least a few minutes here and there? I think too that fans would tend to be a little more patient with our situation if we were giving our youngsters a chance. Not to mention, the set of players that have played so much over the last three weeks or so will be next to break down when the likes of VdV and Romero return.

We should be signing Delap in Jan for anything under £40m...
