Jannsen is 'on the brink', 'close to a deal, 'closer to a deal', 'nearly' and 'really close' - according to the Internet and the Internet should now because it knows everything.
I think it's 'almost finalised'...which is 'really really close' to holding up a shirt at the training ground or even on a Mini Digger....just outside WHL

I read somewhere recently that Poch isn't planning selling anyone of note until after pre season when he can assess his options and how everyone is performing.

It was interesting to see Bentaleb and Chadli involved in the photo shoot for the new kit, although I didn't notice Carroll and Mason amongst others such as N'Jie and Pritchard. Son was there too.

Lamela, Vertonghen and Dembele have been sharing a bit of holiday time together, so I'm guessing the kit shoot was done several weeks ago, possibly even before the Euro's???

Ipswich Town have signed winger Grant Ward from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal, with the option of another 12 months.

The 21-year-old never made a first-team appearance for Spurs but had loan spells at MLS side Chicago Fire, Coventry City and Rotherham United.

Rumoured to be 500k the fee.

I read today that United have signed Pogba for £108m, £275,000 a week wages and his agent gets about £25m........what a fucking joke, who is supposed to compete with that? and what's even more a joke is that if United are successful next year the credit will be claimed by that arrogant prick Mourinho. If I had £200m plus to spend I reckon I could get close to top 4 in the league.

I recon we can read fcuk all into all that now as Pritchard gone and Njie looks like going the same way. Hell didn't Bale and Morris have all their promo stuff done too before they went to Madrid?

Why is this not being talked about more?

As for Jose being the special one....? He fcukin must be must he. Hownin fcuks name does he manage to convince his employers at every club he goes to that he must spend hundreds and hundreds of millions of quid on transfers and wages and that it is in any way cost effective good business.

My God imagine what a talented manager could do there with their resources...?

I know we all got squeeky arses when Poch and SAF met at the end of last season but if they and every other club in the world know just how great the team here is them at some point we seriously need to prepare for a post Poch period unless we can provide him with the opportunity to succeed at the highest level with us.

Another season like last year unearthing gems and making them work and we will have a battle keeping him let alone the stars he is producing.

.
At that club it's become more about brand than actual performance on the pitch. All I hear MU fans talk about is how many shirts Ibra or Pogba will sell in China or over here. You're right about Poch, though you wonder how a manager that specializes in youth development and a pretty rigid system would do at a club that just spunks money against the wall on big names. That said, he's on record as saying he'd like to manage PSG someday. Not worried about it in the near future though.

If there is another 3 Toby's knocking about we should sign them today!

I don't think there's enough hair product in the world for that to be a realistic possibility.

Can someone tell me why we are trying to pay £10m for a french winger that no-one has heard of and getting rid of another one that hasn't really had a chance yet for £6m...??

Georges Kevin N'Koudou is 21 and was transferred last summer for £1.28m from Nantes and now he's worth £10m....err, really? He better be bloody good, ie better than Chadli otherwise what is the point?

Which begs the question....and I haven't looked at the accounts...where has all the TV money gone? I assume in part funding the new stadium, including fees, increased player salaries and Levy/Lewis pockets, since it has to be said they're running a brilliant business in terms of finance and recent success on the pitch/players recruited.

Dunno mate,I kind of agree with not spending for the sake of it and we are only moving on bench players and making way for prospects so I kind of can go with stuffing the piggy bank ATM.

Seems a bit risky outing Bentaleb and Mason. Dembele rarely plays 2 games in a week.

Personally I would have moved Carroll on before Mason, but with wanyama and winks coming through I can understand it to a point.Hopefully freeing money for another signing before sept??

Not normally one to add to unsubstansiated BS rumours, but this is being quoted on all major outlets.

Tottenham have submitted a bid in the region of £15m for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, the player's representative has told the BBC.

Hmmmmm, dunno, guess its a Poch choice, maybe fergie told Poch about him when they had lunch? If he can be coached then could be good value, seeing how much english players are going for?Is he an upgrade on townsend for the few million more?I dunno cos i only see palace when we play them.

I'm afraid this one might be the Berahino debacle all over again. I think Zaha's a good player whose pace would add much to the squad, but they've said he's not for sale, with Parish even basically promising the fans as much.

I'm bot buying this at all.

Wanyama done early doors as he was highlightedas being a player we wanted.

Janssen done early doors for same reasons.

Zaha is in exctly the same boat as Victor.... plays in the Prem, agent would be easily contactable, player could be felt out months ago about the prospect. It makes no sense other than being some kind of cover screen..... chivvying up process for the N'Soduku deal.

Nacer Chadli is will have a medical at West Bromwich after Tottenham accepted a £13m bid, report the Daily Mail.

The 27-year-old Belgium international needs to agree personal terms.

Spurs bought Chadli from FC Twente for £7m in July 2013 and he has gone on to score 25 goals in 129 games but fallen out of favour this campaign.
