I'm a little bit worried about the possibility of losing Danny Rose to City this summer. Apparently Pep has his heart set on both Walker and Rose, but Danny in particular, and he is "confident he can get his man" for £50m and an offer to double his wages.

Have to say, this could be a make or break summer as there are rumours around a large group of our players and even our manager.

When you've had a successful year or 2, as we have had, then there will always be rumours but we can make a real statement if we hold onto our stars now, and it will equally show we are nothing but a stepping stone if we sell them (no matter what the fee) when we are consistently finishing in the Champions league spots and competing for silverware. That would suck.

Rose in particular sounds like a concern when you notice our reported interest in Luke Shaw.

Pretty much all our squad can get higher wages if they want it by leaving, but for some reason they want to stay. I'm sure I recall Rose stating earlier in the season his long term commitment to the club and besides, even though for me he's been arguably our best player this season (that's a debate in itself) he probably isn't the hardest player to replace, a few decent young LBs out there that are obtainable. But that's beside the point, I think he'll stay.

Keeping Poch is the key and taking into account both his Spurs and Soton days, he seems to know how to get the best out of a full back.

I wouldn't be against either Barclay or Zaha, think Zaha could be a beast under Poch but not sure Barclay is gonna get in ahead of Eriksen or Alli. Romelu would be a statement signing! Not sure it's likely though.

Many have been discussing bringing in players that will improve our 1st XI, personally I don't know who's realistically out there that we could get that would improve our 1st XI, we're constantly linked with Sisco but he's a singer, so that won't work but Isco that's the one, I don't see where he fits in, he wouldn't oust either Eriksen or Alli, so that leaves Sonny, depending on our formation obviously, in a 3 man defence I don't see him fitting in but 4 at the back he could replace Sonny but then we lose that goal threat, I know a bit about Isco and he doesn't offer the speed or the goal threat that Sonny does. So what do you guys reckon?

Yeah very true mate, gonna be a tightening of the purse strings, Levy's favourite type of tightening, although who knows he might be into the whole belt round the throat whilst being whipped by Mongolian weightlifter!

Barkley for Sissoko works for me, I'm an admirer of young Ross and with him only having a year left, then we could get him a little cheaper than what his market value would normally be. Sissoko is complete pony, I read ppl saying give him time and he's struggling under the pressure of his vast fee or he's not getting enough game time, no the guy can barely trap a football!

I liked the look of that young CB that broke into the England squad, he looked good but would he come here to sit behind Verts and Toby. There is no one better to learn from that's for sure and we could do with the cover if Dier is the fallback option as CCV doesn't seem to be fancied just yet.

Aguero... he would chip in with a few goals although I don't know if Citeh would be happy to strengthen us while weakening themselves. Oh and where we find 250 a week and not piss on everyon else's chips and the 40 mill signing on fee he would at least command.

Maybe we need to target the kids again... scouse the planet for the most promising 20 year old and younger in the hope that Poch can weave some more magic. That'd excite me a bit more tbh with the posibility of somthing popping up ala Deli.

I think/hope it's all a load of bollocks. At the risk of boring everyone to rears can someone explain to me why we keep being linked with left sided wingers? then signing them and then not playing them......what was the point of selling Chadli or even Townsend and signing N'Jie, then GKN and now apparently (take your pick) Bruma, Zaha, or Costa. It's a pile of crap isn't it. Sell all of the above, chuck in Sissoko and sign Mbappe. Simples.
