I can’t say i’m that bothered if Kounde goes to Chelsea really. All throughout this situation with him, all of the reports have implied he wants Champions League football.

That in itself is fair enough but his attitude appeared to be that if he couldn’t get that or get a move to Real Madrid then he’d basically “make do” with us so fuck that.

I’d want players who actually want to come and play for us regardless of what competition we’re in.

I don't have a huge problem with Tanganga going out on loan if they feel it'll help, but why even consider Skipp ?

For me, with the progress he's made, he's a far better choice than Sissoko for the first team.

I don't dispute the work rate, effort and desire of either. I do question the ability at the top level... and that's where we should be aiming. These two have never delivered consistently at a level that enables us to challenge. I think they've both done well alespcially when surrounded by players who cover their deficiencies... but we've got to do better than that imo.

Galatasaray have made a loan bid for Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga, reports Charlie Eccleshare.

The offer would take Tanganga to Turkey on a season-long loan with no option or obligation to buy.

Spurs are weighing up the bid and will have to decide whether Tanganga, who plays mainly as a centre-back or right-back, will get enough game time this season. The club are currently in advanced talks with Atalanta over central defender Cristian Romero and retain an interest in Bologna’s Takehiro Tomiyasu, who like Tanganga can play centrally or as a right-back.

As The Athletic reported this morning, Tanganga is an academy graduate and so wants to fight for his place at Spurs. But should it be clear he won’t get sufficient minutes in north London this season then he would consider a loan.

If we're on about Sissoko, I don't disagree. Possibly the clumsiest player I think i've ever seen. Watching games where he breaks forward with the ball, I think i've lost count of the amount of times I've screamed at the TV for him to pass it to someone else and subsequently screamed at him when he's tanked the shot or the final ball into the stands, the dugout or the greasy spoon that's two streets down from the stadium.

With Skipp, I definitely think he's earnt a place in the first team and has far more potential to become a much better MC than Sissoko.

Sending him to Galatasaray would be odd. Absolutely nothing wrong with going to the continent--in fact I think more players should do it--but I'd think a loan to another PL or good Championship side would suit him, and I'd be surprised if there weren't a lot of interested parties.
