*quality players
With the exception of hopefully Simons, who would you say on that list has the quality to drag us up that table into top 6 territory ?

Is that a serious question?

We’ll see. Added some very good players, but we were never going to get it all done in one window. My hope is that the youngsters really kick on—Frank has shown he’s willing to play them—and there’s no need for major reinforcements beyond what we’ve brought in, each of whom is very good.

Have to be happy with this...

🇫🇷 Mathys Tel (made permanent)

🇦🇹 Kevin Danso (made permanent)

🇯🇵 Kota Takai

🇬🇭 Mohammed Kudus

🇵🇹 Joao Palhinha (loan)

🇳🇱 Xavi Simons

🇫🇷 Randal Kolo Muani (loan)

Tel - loads of potential but has he shown anything?

Danso - why did we get him? Pure backup for cup games?

Kota - for the future

Kudus - when he’s on he’s on. Can he be consistent?

Joao - Yes

Xavi - Yes. Though could be another big money dud?

Muani - yes

Yeah, can't argue with that. The first 4 i agree...average squad fillers. Kudos isn't a patch on Kulo but is better than Johnson....but Johnson hits the net, Will Kudos ?
Jury's still out on Palhinha but we'll see and as for Simons and Muani ? They'll definitely improve us but the manager is the key imo....he's quality.

All i think of is Paulinho, Chadli, Soldado, Capoue and Chiriches all arriving with Eriksen and Lamela after Bale left...

Its fucking Levy thats knocked any positivity out of me...Time will tell!

Bryan Gil to Verona on a permanent £10m deal and Manor Solomon to Villareal on a season long loan as well.

You've not seen Danso play have you?

Backup for cup games? WTF? He's quality.

Not to be pedantic, but I believe he's gone to Girona in Spain.

One of the brightest young footballers of the early 2020's but he just wasn't ready for the most elite league in the world at this time.

I'm happy to be proven wrong. And if / when I am I will own it. Until then, he has been a squad player at most.

Danso is a good, but so far seemingly limited CB who will likely do better under Frank than under Ange due to what’s demanded of him.

Not a player I’m especially glad to see in the XI but not somebody I worry about filling in, or playing as part of a back 3 either.

He has done better in limited time thus far than he did last... He looked a mess lots of the time when called upon last season IMO.

His real benefit is he counts as a home grown player for Europe...

Yep, spent his early teens in and around English footy so qualifies as home grown...

Astute piece of work by the club there imo.

I was surprised by Danso's & Bergvall's throw-in ability. Quite the range & offensive weapon.
Never saw that under Ange.

Danso looks more accomplished than Dragusin.

'Sofascore'? Never heard of it. You have a link to player ratings?

My knowledge of Danso is obviously lacking, as he doesn't crack our XI unless someone is suspended, injured or we are playing a cup game and they're getting a rest and I don't really watch international football outside of the major tournaments proper. That said, what gives you the impression that "He's quality"?

But I bet you think Davies is the standard ( based on you telling me to not bash him 😁)
Honestly what I'm worried about is that all look like the answer... And the problem.. sometimes in the same game... Hopefully this coach is able to figure it out
