I'm very pleased with the business we've done. Plenty in's & out's to deal with & all in one window. Very efficient. And I'll go out on a limb & say that Mudryk may very well be the sleeper / surprise of them all. There's a certain fire within that kid & he's got plenty to prove to not only justify his option to buy price but also RDZ faith in him. He's got the skill & fortitude to do it too.

Full disclosure, I'm happy with, and excited about, all the activity. Incomings are upgrades or potentially so (Mudryk and Tosin). Outgoings were necessary.

But I can't help thinking the squad is now a bit...serious. We're losing all the mad lads. Say what you like about their exploits on the pitch, Big Kev, chicken man and the Djedi all had personality. I know we need professionals, and believe me I want to win matches, but it's feeling a bit cold and sleek.

But I still miss Bentley, Gomes, Adebayor, Lamela, Ndombele and folks like that.

What about you lot? Is there anybody from years past who was kinda shit, but hard not to love?

Agreed he's a cut above the rest I mentioned. But compared to the expectations....

As for Canada South, maybe we've been too nice to them for too long. I suppose Lamela could be a Shoresy type if he was to play senior soccer somewhere. Maybe a technical director or some such shit for our national squad, with an ambassadorial role when we head down that way.
