The Premier League, FA and EFL have agreed their plan for entry requirements for foreign players post-Brexit for when the UK leaves the European Union after December 31. Post Brexit, clubs will not be able to sign players freely from the EU.
Players from EU countries who want to play in the Premier League or EFL will be required to gain a GBE, like all other overseas players without the right to work in the UK. The GBE will operate a points-based system, where points are scored for senior and talented young players.

They will be based on: 1) Senior and youth international appearances. 2) Quality of the selling club, based on the league they are in, league position and progression in continental competition. 3) Club appearances, based on domestic league and continental competition minutes. Players accumulating the requisite amount of points will earn a GBE (Governing Body Endorsement) automatically, while players just below the threshold may be considered for a GBE by an Exceptions Panel.

In the Premier League, the number of overseas U21 players a club can sign will be limited to 3 in the January transfer window and 6 per season moving forwards. The UK’s exit from the EU will also mean that clubs will not be able to sign players from overseas until they are 18.

Our business has been decimated by Covid. As a result we have resorted to companies holding virtual events and us sending out beer and peanuts etc. prior, to help the poor sods get through a zoom conference. That's fine, we're making almost nothing, but keeping busy, problem is you can't send alcohol to Europe including Ireland, because we've left and there's all sorts of customs issues. Thanks Boris you lying, cheap, cunt that makes policies on the hoof, with no proper research. You don't even fucking care let alone know what's really going on.

Here's a man and a philosophy that Levy would love. It's sort of the Southampton model, only they win lots of trophy's. Not sure it would work in the Premier league again as Southampton have proved over many years, but suits clubs that need the additional finance or Chairmen that way inclined........

No confidence. It's a tricky thing to recover. Whatever sport you play (or anything in life, from banter to chatting up birds),when you have it everything's easy. When you don't, everything's hard, including getting in back.

Last night was his chance. He wasn't helped by his RB, nor by the strangely flaccid midfield in front of him, but every time he touched the ball something went wrong.

He looked like his legs were bolted on backwards... Whenever he went near the ball it just bounced off him or he completely missed it.

Time for a change for both him and the club is reckon.

A loan certainly, at least when we have decent cover. Skriniar? in January?

I hate to pick on him, but Joe Hart was absolutely horrendous last night. The first goal was absurd. He basically got his cleats stuck in the ground and then slipped. The second literally went through him without him touching it. But certainly should have been saved. The final goal was the toughest, but if you really watch he could have simply ran across the face of goal and caught the ball. He basically dove from a standstill and only made it a few feet. Granted, it's not his fault that he is what he is at this point, but I haven't the foggiest how he's better than Gazzaniga.

Any one know why Gazza has fallen from grace?

Spot on with the confidence I think, but there's no way back for him now. Mourinho will only throw him scraps and he won't have the chance to build it back up. Let him go and try his luck elsewhere. Stones is in the same boat with Pep - I reckon he's worth a cheeky offer, Ledley can fix his error-prone ways

Hart doesn't deserve it, but Gazza isn't eligible.

If the team in front of him step up the way they ought, Alfie should get a chance. But I think we all know it will be Hart.

Paris St-Germain are set to make another attempt to sign Tottenham's Dele Alli on loan in January.

The French club tried to sign Alli, 24, in the summer but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy refused to agree a deal.

Midfielder Alli's Spurs future has become increasingly uncertain with the England international only starting one Premier League game this season.

He has not been in a Premier League matchday squad since the 6-1 win at Manchester United on 4 October.

He was an unused substitute in Thursday's Europa League victory over Royal Antwerp, after which his manager said it was "impossible" to keep every player happy.

Alli, who has scored 64 goals and provided 56 assists in 230 Spurs appearances, is known to be hugely frustrated at the situation.

While injuries could offer a route back to the first team if he remains at Spurs, it seems certain he will leave next month unless the situation changes quickly.

Paris Saint Germain could make a move for Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli this month, but only after moving players on first.

That’s according to L’Equipe, who say the focus at the French club is on sales in the January transfer window.

I quite like that Eze lad.

Young, English, homegrown, not a ignorant one footed sicknote cunt like Lamela ... not sure he works hard enough for "our cunt" (yep he is back to that for the time being).
