Definitely a game of two halves that one. Four nil, playing with ten men from the kick off is fucking brilliant. When we ditch Emerson and field eleven players we'll be even better.

I also think Romero is always playing on a fucking knife edge... a fraction away from a booking/red the whole game... saying that, if it made him less effective I'd say keep it in him.
4 goals, on the second half alone doesn't flatter us... 0 goals conceded in first half 100% does.
Wish I'd have stayed on my bike now as that 2nd half would have been enjoyable and flown by.
Now in our hands... que a spursy performance against Norwich...!

Took a battering in the first half, but they are shit and we stomped them like the mid- table lot they are in the 2nd half. Great win. But definitely things that would have cost us against a top side. Still things to improve. But we are a different team than when the year started. COYS!

Cracking result and a major boost to the goal difference as well.
Arsenal have got Southampton next weekend which should be fairly simple, but then they've got Chelsea, United and West Ham.
When we play them in May, there's a distinct possibility it could literally be for all the marbles because if we were to win, we'd potentially be 6 points and 10+ goals clear with only two games remaining.

An idiot person told me that Kane was 'finished' because he wasn't scoring goals. I just smile and agree that it is a shame. The idiot person 'supports' the Tottenham Spurs, he told me. He is also, unlike me an expert on soccer tactics, so he would know, and he does, he tells me often. Villa were well up for this one, and we were lucky to get through the first half without conceding a few. But then we just throttled them in the second. Saw this quote from Tony in a piece in the Athletic this morning: "We had to show in this moment that you start to feel the blood of your opponent and it is important to not fail." Love it.
