For starters both Manchester clubs have new, big name managers they signed this summer, who they have backed in a massive way financially so certainly won't be anytime soon so if they do come in for him I'm assuming it'll be because he is doing a better job here than they have done there, in which case we will likely be finishing above them as we did lat year, will have a better stadium than both of them (although still smaller than OT),I expect would be getting regualar trophies and CL football.... So given that he'd need to be getting major success here to get those jobs which he would need to have instant success at (not sure if his methods would achieve that) why would he leave a Spurs he has seen become a major force under his guidance for a club who have spent large parts of their history yoyoing up and down the divisions or a club that were once huge under Fergie but will be more like Liverpool of the 90's.... As long as he's backed by Levy and doing well here he will stay for quite sine time yet. Barca or Real may tempt him and he also has a special place in his heart for PSG I believe so maybe that could be tempting for him but if he's built a legacy here I think he'll find it difficult to leave. Why would he want to step down a peg or two? If it's money...and it isn't, Levy would pay him whatever Mourinho or Pep gets. He has just beaten the most richly assembled team in the league, on not once, but the least three occasions....he has Champions League football, sells out Wembley Stadium and is watching a new 61,000 seater stadium going up around him. If he wants to stay at a really Big big club, then he should stay at Spurs......
although the tipping point for me......it always rains in Manchester and Mr & Mrs Poch don't like rain (suitable apologies to @Liam )
He might one day go to Real Madid, because he can speak Spanish, but that's about it. I like to think he will be here and build a dynasty over 5-10 years, maybe even longer depending on the backing from Levy and success achieved. Wonder what he discussed over lunch with fergie???
Good point on the weather up here too, but I must say that the weather has been exceptionally good up here this summer and even now in October it's blue skies and warmish weather, although their was a storm in September which lasted one day and caused bloody chaos apparently (City CL game cancelled too) but I was in Greece then anyway.
