What`s the deal towards Pochettino?

Why would he want to step down a peg or two? If it's money...and it isn't, Levy would pay him whatever Mourinho or Pep gets. He has just beaten the most richly assembled team in the league, on not once, but the least three occasions....he has Champions League football, sells out Wembley Stadium and is watching a new 61,000 seater stadium going up around him. If he wants to stay at a really Big big club, then he should stay at Spurs......

although the tipping point for me......it always rains in Manchester and Mr & Mrs Poch don't like rain (suitable apologies to @Liam )

He might one day go to Real Madid, because he can speak Spanish, but that's about it. I like to think he will be here and build a dynasty over 5-10 years, maybe even longer depending on the backing from Levy and success achieved. Wonder what he discussed over lunch with fergie???
For starters both Manchester clubs have new, big name managers they signed this summer, who they have backed in a massive way financially so certainly won't be anytime soon so if they do come in for him I'm assuming it'll be because he is doing a better job here than they have done there, in which case we will likely be finishing above them as we did lat year, will have a better stadium than both of them (although still smaller than OT),I expect would be getting regualar trophies and CL football.... So given that he'd need to be getting major success here to get those jobs which he would need to have instant success at (not sure if his methods would achieve that) why would he leave a Spurs he has seen become a major force under his guidance for a club who have spent large parts of their history yoyoing up and down the divisions or a club that were once huge under Fergie but will be more like Liverpool of the 90's.... As long as he's backed by Levy and doing well here he will stay for quite sine time yet. Barca or Real may tempt him and he also has a special place in his heart for PSG I believe so maybe that could be tempting for him but if he's built a legacy here I think he'll find it difficult to leave.

Good point on the weather up here too, but I must say that the weather has been exceptionally good up here this summer and even now in October it's blue skies and warmish weather, although their was a storm in September which lasted one day and caused bloody chaos apparently (City CL game cancelled too) but I was in Greece then anyway.

That Dutch bloke was the bloke who released those totally bolloxed statistics regarding European fixtures. He is selling his book and advertising his theories about training, which I believe folks like AVB subscribe to - one session to a maximum 90 minutes per day. The stats he quotes (like he did for the totally bolloxed post Euro fixture paper) are based on too small a data set to be of any relevance, he is a celebrity trainer with an tunnel visioned obsession on his own rules of training, and his buzzwords like 'periodisation'.

It is very easy to say that Harry was injured because of the training regime, I could say that it was because of a butterfly flapping its wings in China and the wind blew him over. We could say that Toby played every minute of every PL game last year because of the Poch's training regime and he would have been injured if he had been training under Verheijen. Both statements are bollocks. Of course some of his ideas are good, but he ain't the fucking messiah and a lot of what he says is self-deluded bollocks.
He is at it again the clog wearing fanny, his missus must have a wet patch for El Jefe that he cant muster.

That's the trouble with international breaks, they are dull and the papers have to speculate to fill newspaper space.

He's going to be here for a few years at least I think/hope.
I believe he's on record as saying PSG was a dream job. If he left us for a so-called "bigger" club it would probably be there since he played for them. I'm just going to enjoy it while he's here, whether its 20 more months or 20 more years.

I wonder if he is that cunt from the Nether regions on the other place?

He has a theory that is unproven and only he subscribes to it - if he was so fucking brilliant he would be coaching a top league side for a successful national team innit? There may be some good points in his theory but there is a whole lot of gonads there as well, and by slagging every successful manager for 'winning wrong' he would fit in nicely in the dead zone forum.

The shit he came out with about 5 minutes after Gary Speed's death about how it was 'Gary's wish' that he should get the Wales manager job made me want to vomit. He's a cunt.

The bullshit bit for me was when he said we faded towards the end of last season due to fatigue, more like we could no longer mathematically win the title so no surprise the team didn't have such an edge at that stage.

Its all shit mate, how many complete Pochettino training sessions has this guy seen?not even one and yet he knows......bloke is an A class attention seeking wanker.
Like to see his analysis of chelsea, city, uniteds, liverpools training regimes,or arsenals considering their injury ratio.Dunno whats worse the guy chatting shit or the media for using it as a "story".

Bumpitty bump,bump bump

Oh now we are their darlings, fickle twats,Jamie/harry "spurs big,but not big" redknapps are going through kleenex at a rate on every show they get to pundit on (on the back of spurs current form and the media wanting spurs comment puh!),now we are the best team in the league, poch is a genius (thats mostly aimed at fanbase bollox over the draws in oct/nov),the knee jerking is hilarious at the moment.

But I have noticed evey league table shown on sky,bt,bbc, written media has to show a top 6,cause they have to sneak man u in there, yes the points between are close, but if it was everton who`d bet they wouldnt merely be showing a top 5.

Well I know we are hoping to rump city today and loving the laughter at bravo&pep, but the medias jumping on the kick city bus is just as stupid as when they were kicking spurs in october.Wondering also why the usual post new year wengeroke (in/out in/out...)isnt in full flow, off the pace and havent really played a decent team in an age, well they lost to everton and an out of form city, guess feb when they play chelsea and bayern that show will hit the town.Wenger must be delighted that they have a very difficult april/may so wengeroke can wait a bit longer than normal!.

If,if we beat city remember all the ball fondling from the press we will get,is just total stump sucking nowism, where were they 3 months ago when supposedly we were in a state of unrest?Eh richard keys, does it feel like you`ve had your backdoors smashed in now???

Whilst we are on great form .....beware a wounded City, playing at home would be my mantra. If we were to win this it will reinforce the belief from the Chelsea and West Brom games....going into a couple of easier fixtures before Liverpool. Most interesting thing might be who Poch chooses to replace Jan and what formation he plays....

BT pundits mentioned spurs post match to say we should have 2 penalties awarded against us, Walker should have been off and Kane was offside for our equaliser.....!!! And that was it.

We were 1 of 2 teams in a fantastic game of football and came away with a point after scoring 2 great, well worked breakaway goals. And that was the extent of our contribution to the game in their eyes. Without us it wouldn't have happened.

How many great tackles to stop them having a field day from Rose and Toby. How fucking imense was Victor? Dembele costing a fraction of Citeh stars but twisting their blood retaining the ball. Poch mixing it up tactically to save our blushes and get us somthing out of a lost cause.

Macmanaman is a cunt. Redknapp (don't ask which one, all of them) is a cunt. Gerrard is a cunt. Was it Nail fucking Quin.....? If so he's a cunt. Lead comentator.... proper cunt. As for that piss poor excuse for a presenter..... fucking cunt whoever he is.

Our keeper made 2 howlers to gift them their goals ffs. Yeah he made a couple of good stops too, but their goals were shite.

I don't know if Poch simply gets the shitty stick because we get the shitty stick.... I'd love us to do somthing this year and poke these so called fucking experts in the fucking eye with that shitty stick the cunts.

Good night.

You should see the BBC match report and MOTD then, think it was cobbled together by the same geezer who wrote WMD for Blair or radio shows for that nice german chelsea fella.
Actually I`ve changed my world view on the press,I am now happy for them to put the boot in,I found their 2 week spurs love in to be incredibly condecsending, shallow and TBH very unleicesterish, they wanted another fairytale, well I say fuck em,let em have a spurs nightmare and take their precious fucking red&blue manc love in to thursday nights next year where it belongs.

I just watched it and I was a bit surprised at Shearer banging on about how it should gave been a penalty and a red card without mentioning how offside Sterling might have been when he recieved the ball -looked about 2 yards to me. If he was offside then Kyle could have kicked him right up his cheating arsehole and it wouldn't have been a penalty.

they did talk about offsides though "Is kane offside...ooh dont know " cunts
Also they failed to point out that on friday, brighton vs sheff weds, penalty awarded, red card shown, penalty saved,10 men scored and won,so fuck em.OR they could simply just have said sterling would have missed anyway he couldnt hit an elephants arse from one meter with a broom.
