The year is 2045:
Wenger & Assistant manager Olivier Giroud on their way to manage Arsenal's opening match in League 2.

So raises the question, will Wenger still be getting Giroud to wipe his butt?

They've been well and truly found out, and by Allardychio no less, rofl-mao-ol...

... and to extrapolate a little, Woolwich have accumulated just 17pts in the last 12 games, since January 1st. That's effectively a 3rd of a season!! If you were to stretch that form out over a full 38 games, they would amass somewhere around 40pts+.

Woolwich, battling relegation? oh boy have they been found out!

Or around mid-December when there "run" began by losing to Everton, since then they've played 15, won 6, drawn 2 and lost 7!!!!! And that's not including their humiliation against Bayern!!

You're right, pick any date in between.......didn't they lose at home to Watford amongst that lot? Mind you Watford are a very, very good team.....especially away from home!!

Yeah, they did indeed!

and their decline at this time of year is nothing new tbh, it's just hilariously worse this time! Everyone has been talking about "Proper Spursy" but maybe we should talk about post-New Year implosions as being "Proper Arsenally"

All them Gooners who've been going on about their team's ability to always pull it out the bag and come good in the end have egg on their faces, as all that has done is paper over the cracks and give Arlene an excuse to never address the issue. It's kind of like a team who constantly conceded goals and constantly fall behind in games celebrating because they always manage to find late goals which they feel justifies the way they play. Sooner or later tho, they won't score late and they'll simply lose...

What are we going to call the day they can't finish above us........please no 'Saint' in front of the name, just something like 'Scum Sunday 2017' 'Gash Gooner day' etc.

Lol, I'm thinking we don't call it anythinh tbh. As the Gooners are finding out, that only ends in humiliation come the day you fail.

It's kind of like that banner they had at Old Trafford mocking how many years since City had won anything ... and then they only went and stole the title off of United, despite United having an 8 point lead during the run-in, with the final kick of the season. The banner was swiftly removed after that, oops!

Besides, I'm all for banter, but I've always felt "St Totteringham's Day" was crass and represented the distinct lack in class of Woolwich fans. I kind of prefer not to sink to their level and just mock them when the time calls for it - basically, if we perpetually revel in our superiority over them, particularly after just one season, it's a bit embarrassing when it doesn't happen, but if we laugh hard at them for finishing 8th in 2017, well, they'll ALWAYS have to endure that one!

And, in many ways, there's more pain for them in our silence. They've become irrelevant to us, as we're only looking up ;)

I tend to agree mate. It's great that we will finish above them but our aims should always be greater than just being better than them. We are on an upward curve and long may it last.
On a more self indulgent note tho........YEEEEEOOOOOWWW lol

I think I look at like this - celebrate our success in isolation, laugh at their failure in isolation, but best to avoid connecting 1 with the other.

That being said ...14pts....MIND THE FUCKING GAP!

It does look as tho Arsene missed the warning sign:

I like this new picture, can it be used in series of Arsenal warning signs I wonder? along with the tube style 'Mind The Gap'

We currently need 10 more points and they can't overtake us, assuming our +20 goal difference isn't overhauled.

Or Woolwich dropping any points. It's based on the assumption Woolwich will get every single point, so any points dropped at this stage are as good as a win for us, for that metric.

How confident are they of picking up another 14 points? We might not even need to play another game to finish above them. Not that that's our target - I'll enjoy getting one over on them but their ball bag of a club is no longer a yardstick for us.

Isn't the question more or less, when will the Scum succumb?

Haven't they already?
They're even more pathetic than I ever imagined. I gave Wenger some respect for his accomplishments, but he paid big money for Sanchez & Ozil, & they're the biggest culprits in their demise.
The Pee ons that are below them are even greater scum.

Well done in assembling this crew.
Enjoy your ride into obscurity Blud, Fam, Bullshit, Fuck...etc etc...

They are incredibly lucky to be in 6th, 14 points behind us. Like I said in the original post, at the time they had stolen 7 points through incompetent refereeing, at least 4 or 5 more since then. They could have easily be down in 10th by now, there is still an excellent chance that they won't even qualify for the Yuropa League, I will laugh and laugh and laugh, Mind The Gap!
