That result underlines the brittleness of our squad... And I would have posted this regardless of the result.

"Yeah but we were 6 mins from a magnificent win", I hear some cunt shout... Fuck you, it was a defence vs attack session yet a-fucking-gain...! And I've watched that bullshit for 3 years, and won't again.

Yeah we've had injuries/suspensions but if we haven't got a plan to draft in players from the bench or U21's to do the job even on a temporary basis, then someone isn't doing their job right. The standard of those called upon or their ability to match the outputs of what we want/need to do on the field, is not good enough.

Also, Hoijberg/Lo Celso looking to move away in Jan...!!!

We need them to stay and we need to spend some money.

We all know how that will go with TDL running things. "No value in the market" bullshit again...

Not ready to panic or get too angry yet. Honestly I thought it was one of those games where we scored a little too early, if you know what I mean. The manager will be fuming that we gave away two goals on quick restarts.

Obviously Bentancur needs to start. We were far more cohesive when he was on the pitch. I thought some of the others looked a little rusty. It reminded me a little of the Fulham game, tbh. Just lacking in creativity and inspiration.

When you read some of the comments doing the rounds, it's the usual parts of the fanbase who think we're straight back to the bad old days of Mourinho and Conte's ultra defensive, negative football again while still managing to blame Eric Dier for everything.

We're still a work in progress and have probably over achieved to an extent at the moment but I'm still fully on board with Ange and what he's aiming for. I hate losing and especially losing in the way we did today but it's onwards and upwards i think.

Tough game. This is going to be a horribly tough stretch, but at least we know we'll fight like hell. Won't be enough, but hopefully will build a culture for the future. Love Ange, but he has to be a bit more pragmatic seeing out games. Hopefully he learns from this as well. Our players were extremely lazy on the winner. Job one is to stop them from taking the free kick quickly, which all the defenders expected to happen. When it didn't, we were caught and the legs weren't there. Little mistakes, but in this league those mistakes are punished. Have a hunch Ange will keep this from spiraling and we'll hang in there.

Kickoff was 4:30 am here. Was glad to be up to see Brennan's goal along with the front foot attacking movement. What a joy to watch that kind of play leading to the goal. Simply cut them apart. But that seemingly evaporated soon after. Yes we controlled the ball but it wasn't purposeful possession. And that possession was continually eroding. Wolves played well & obviously finished much stronger that us.

Disappointing result but nowhere near panic stations.

Yet looking ahead, I have no idea how Ange is going to deal with Citeh's Cyborg.
Deir? Davies? Holy crap.

In fairness the team we just lost to also beat said cyborg. But yeah, no doubt we have a bumpy road ahead.
