This reminds me of the tactically inept performances where players were just doing what they thought they were supposed to be doing, under Nuno...

Kulesevski (I haven't bothered to see how its spell as he hasn't earned that effort yet),has done next to fucking nothing since being introduced.

Do I need to state again how terrible Doh'erty and Sanchez are? Sess was hooked as he was way out of his depth (where the fuck does that leave us for LB's, as theyr both utter junk). Winks has zero ball retention. Son and Kane have been wasteful. Lloris clearly has no confidence in that back line... although that's not why we lost the first goal, flappy arms Hugo...!!! Bellend.

If I was Conte, I would be taking wages off these cunts.

And all we've got off the bench is Bergwine...

Supposed backline saviour Romero doesn’t get off without his whack either.

His positioning is diabolical and as the supposed backline enforcer he is pretty poor. The guy has no presence whatsoever.

Think Romero's got great potential for us though. Mr Ben "just alright" Davies and Bambi either side of him have been problems for a while now and not addressed.
Winks, Davies, Sess, Sanchez, Doherty, Royal, and Tanganga are all passengers that should not be starting for a club that's hoping to make top 4.

This nails it from the Evening Standard about Sanchez
Lucky to keep his place after Wednesday’s horror-show against Southampton and no better here. What has Joe Rodon got to do to get a chance?

God it’s hard work supporting our club.

I said a week ago that I thought there was a freshness to the club after the transfer window ended, well it seems a load of stink bombs have been lobbed into the club.

When we turn in the performances we have over the last 3 league games, I just feel an overwhelming sense of concern as to how long this rebuild’s gonna take. I can reel off at least 9/10 names that need to be out of this club asap but I worry who the hell’s gonna buy them at the price Levy will want for them. Then you have to get players in that have to be of real quality, with an owner and chairman that don’t like to spend.

Just another normal day being a Spurs fan. All very draining. I have so much respect for the poor souls that pay their hard earned money to go and support us and get next to nothing in return, other than maybe a decent half of football once every 3 or 4 games. 👏 🤦‍♂️

We clearly have a whole raft of talentless players, but Conte has to take some responsibility for this debacle. Three things:

1) We just lost to Southampton with only two central midfielders, so why try the same thing against a better team?

2) Sessegnon is a young lad struggling confidence - what take him off instead of Doherty who you already know is shit?

3) Why take off the guy you already know is shit and replace him with someone you know is even shitter and hates attacking?

I’m sure he’s wonderful manager, but he didn’t have a wonderful day.

I absolutely hate this 2 in midfield nonsense, it might as well be one if Winks is playing, may be alright against weaker opposition but Saints, Wolves etc are decent teams and we’re giving up the midfield battle before we even kick off. For the love of God play 3 in the middle.

We're in trouble. Two weeks ago everyone was crowing about Top 4 now reality has kicked in and so has our appalling, 'rabbit in headlights' defence and we'll be lucky to get Europa League. Conte needs 3 high quality players urgently, if he doesn't get them via backing for Levy, I don't blame him if he pisses off. I wish Levy would.

We need proper change.

LEVY OUT

I know it's hugely frustrating to see this time and time again but when you read around some of the comments online, you've legitimately got some 'fans' calling for Conte's head already. The world class manager we've always wanted/needed and these idiots think he needs to go.

But then I've been there when the team was booed off in AVB's first game in charge so I suppose nothing really surprises me with some of our fanbase.

Years of neglect and poor decisions aren't suddenly going to go away without a lot of work.

Just remember lads... NO ONE is too big to be Levys fall guy...

The wheels are turning and he has his stooges in place.

Nuno paid the price, Hitchen paid the price, Patrici and Conte will be next before any talk of Levy taking any blame.

Whilst it’s completely crazy to suggest he should go, I agree with @NiceOneCyril that some of the blame should be apportioned to him for yesterday.

We had our most energetic and combative player on the pitch (Hojbjerg) against the Saints and they had the freedom of the pitch to do what they wanted with the ball, we were so easy to play through. So why then do you continue with a 2 man midfield against an equally as good a side as Southampton but this time keep Winks starting, who’s about as useful as a chocolate tea pot at breaking up play.

Stop with this 3-4-3, play 3-5-2, I mean the front 3 don’t get much service anyway coz our midfield 2 are generally chasing shadows coz they’re outnumbered. Our defence is so shit that our 3rd midfielder might help on that side of things. Anyway what do I know though!

Couldn't agree more. At least with Conte, he recognised his mistake and tried to change it by hooking Sessegnon when he did. I remember The Cunt doing the same with Dier in a game but I don't think that was down to tactics, more a case of trying to put the fear of god in them.

3-5-2 is, apparently, Conte's preferred formation anyway so why not stick with it ?. We all know we haven't got the quality to make it work, but why not give players like Rodon and Doherty the chance to at least have a go, especially when the likes of Sanchez and Royal are underperforming so badly.

One thing I will say is Conte's doom-and-gloom talk isn't helping the team. While he isn't wrong, these guys don't need their confidence dinged any more than it already is. And 3 in midfield a must. But which 3? Winks, Bentancur, Skipp? More stout with PEH, Bentancur and Skipp? His options ain't great.

Players are regressing and the fact of the matter is our defence has been shit for a good time now starting with Mourinhos tenure. Hugo for me is not to blame and he saves our ass more often then once.

Davinson even though he tries is just a poor defender and he hasn't really had a good prolonged spell in the team since he has been here.

We have not learnt anything at all from the previous games including the Chelsea games where we played the EXACT same way. Still behind Conte but a lot of work to do.

Don Diaz has commented ‘we are in trouble’ and I totally agree with him.

Expensive signings out on loan and this dross being served up.

Worrying times.

Apathy has taken hold.

However, if you believe the noise coming out of the club we are clinging on until the summer for Conte to build his team...

I know we have all been here before, we have heard this a few times and been promised a "rebuild in the summer" season after season.

I will continue to be apathetic until the summer, where I will live in hope of the rainbow producing the mythical pot of gold...

But I will not be surprised when there is no rainbow, or gold or a rise in the season ticket prices or more craft beer and clubshop emails targeted at you to purchase more shite for landfill.

The club needs wholesale change in the way it invests in its main product if it is to be successful on the pitch.

The argument is that it continues to be very successful on the balance sheet without the need to reinvest in the main product.

Fuck you very much Levy...

Just to be clear, I really want Conte to stay. I'd like him to oversee a complete rebuild of the squad to produce a competitive team playing attractive football.

But it's not going to happen. There is no way we're moving six or seven players out and getting six or seven better ones in over the summer. If he doesn't leave then, Conte will limp on until the January window at most before he throws his hands in the air. He will just be the latest of Levy/ENIC's failed vanity projects. And the latest in my failed emotional investments in this football club.

Another thing is we are not making enough of our home advantage. At White Hart Lane it was a fortress where we had quite a good record and we were very dependable against the mid table teams to get a positive result.

Too many times not only are we losing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we are getting absolutely dominated and played off the park.

IT NEEDS TO CHANGE!

if we play the same way on Saturday to as what we have been doing I can see it being a 6-0 scoreline.

Think I’ll be getting pissed even before the game starts.

Yep, but will Levy walk away ? Will he fuck! The only chance we have of getting rid of that power hungry tight cunt is for a bloke (who's first name is Sheikh) to offer Levy an obscene amount of money to buy him out. But then of course at the 12th hour, just as contracts are about to be signed, he'll want another 20%....and that'll be that.

We need a complete fucking detox! Conte needs 3 windows imo and plenty of investment to get his team on the pitch. Will it happen ?....I'm doubtful. We need Conte alot more than Conte needs us.

As bad as Levy is, I'd rather have him and Lewis than Abramovich, or Qatar, or UAE, or Saudi Arabia. Or maybe I'm just lying to myself? the only big club that doesn't have detestable ownership is Liverpool. And I think they mostly just got friggin lucky.

Really think with this massive stadium debt hanging over us its really going to hamper us in the next couple of windows unless Joe sells one of his yachts.

Don’t know when we will be selling our naming rights also.

Nah mate, you've got it all wrong...!!!

Levy the master dealer and chairman supreme, on 5 million a year... is masterfully negotiating the naming rights deal with absofuckinglutely no-one...

By doing this and missing out on the 2 years on revenue we could have secured if we had done the ground work prior to the stadium being built, when we were in the Champions League, with world class players and a young exciting manager who was being hailed by all the super clubs of Europe, he has masterfully put us in the most advantageous position of trying to get anyone at all associated with the failing club...

Genius mate, the man is a fucking demigod remember...!!!
