NFI...probably for formation changes, ie 3 CB's Young is more of wing back? Walker played CB last match I think.....we'll see against the mighty Tunisia soon enough!
I'm sure he played CM for Villa before going to City, kind of like a Ryan Mason style player.

He did indeed play midfield at Villa. He was captain for a while I think. I actually think he is a decent player, but reading Neville's interview was weird as he said we have brought Delph for the middle of the park after a great season at City. Which is odd as he played left back for city lol.

I saw there the Germans have taken 4 keepers due to Neuer having a broken foot. What's the point when you have that Barca fella in the ranks anyway. They left behind Gotze and Wagner. Apparently Wagner was even more a baby than Wilshire and retired on the spot. Was only the provisional team too!!

I’ll be at the Belgium-Tunisia game in Moscow. Looking forward to my first World Cup experience (barring the Russia part).
Fantastic, enjoy! Interesting game as well.

Said exactly the same thing, how does he get in ahead of Smalling for example? And that’s not great either

Of course main question is how did either of them get in ahead of Wilshire? ASTOUNDED.

Loving the breakdown on social media.....How anyone thinks Jordan Henderson should be captain let alone even sniffing an England shirt is beyond me

Just a quick one but how mental must Germany’s squad be, that they can afford to not even take Sane. I find it mind blowing, the guy would likely be the 2nd name on our team sheet after Harry, let alone our squad.

Not sure about second name on our team sheet, but his pace is a great asset and Trippier will be pleased he's not there if we have to face Germany.

I rate him so highly mate, it’s not just his pace but he’s a decent finisher, gd awareness and makes grt runs off the ball. Let’s put it this way, the first 4 names would be Harry, Sane, Sterling & Alli. That would be enough to scare the crap out of most defences.

You can keep Sterling, I can't stand the bloke and he needs 6 chances to finish one. Harry, Eriksen, Dele, Vertonghen, Sane, works for me!! if only Sane was French, I'm sure we'd have signed him a couple of years ago........;)

They say Sane has never had a good game for Germany, not one. 12 appearances and 12 crap games.

Yeah I read his last few games have been ordinary to say the least but still, the kid is so talented. Looking at Germany’s squad, it’s incredible the strength in depth they have.

As for us, i’ve been really impressed with how open and relaxed the squad have looked. Southgate’s obviously doing a really good job gelling the squad. Just hope it translates onto the pitch, I ain’t holding my breath though!

Am I right in thinking Germany have or had a foreign player limit?

Not to my knowledge mate. Think it’s unlimited in terms of foreign players. I guess it’s just that clubs don’t receive the vast sums of money from the tv rights that pl clubs do, so they invest in youth and bring them through more so than we do.
