Plans to ensure a fitting finale to White Hart Lane will unfold in the coming weeks culminating in a Farewell Ceremony v Man Utd on 14 May.

We’ve commissioned a docufilm as a tribute to our home of 118 yrs, feat. some of the biggest names to grace WHL + behind-the-scenes access.
UNIQUE TIMELINE AND DOCUFILM – We’ve already started collecting fan memories of White Hart Lane - this will continue so get involved!
TIME CAPSULE – A custom-made Time Capsule is planned to be buried at a point of overlap between the old and the new stadia.
FINALE MATCH PROGRAMME - A commemorative programme will be produced and available to pre-order ahead of the match v Man Utd.

SPECIAL EDITION CREST – We’ve created a unique crest to commemorate this important moment in the Club's history. #TheLaneTheFinale

The design is inspired by some of the most iconic aspects of the Lane – the golden cockerels and shields from our East/West stands and our famous black gates which once formed the original entrance and are forever linked with legendary former manager Bill Nicholson.

Be good to do the last two games, ala Ossies and Ricky's welcoming......ticker tape, so everyone needs to take bags of newspapers ready to throw in the air

It's not on.....represents a pittance to the club unless they are donating the money to charity? They should have had 11 nephews/nieces of the double winning team instead?

Ha ha, I agreed with this, now I feel like a cunt because @corroded has told us it's a charity thing. Damn that 'agree' button, if only there was a way to go back in time and unagree, not disagree that would be a bit strong, but it's too late Facebook will have already slurped up that agree and will add that I am a cunt to the profile it has on me.

I saw it on telly last night that Facebook knows everything about me and will sell this information to advertisers and murderers, how did it find out all about me? Will it know that all the profile stuff I put on there when I signed up was just a touch inaccurate and that my name is not really Zachariah Geronimo Dorset and I am not 135 years old? Has anyone really given Facebook kosher info? I know they have because it is much easier to find the cunts these days, it takes some of the fun out of the hunt though.

It's nice that rich folks were bidding big on this and the wedge will go to a splendid cause.

You can technically undo a rating on a site here though, mind :D

Totally off topic this, but you might find it interesting @Dorset

The way Facebook, and Advertisers do things is if you're logged in to facebook, and the site you're loading is using Facebook in some capacity... for example, logins, or the recommend button, like below... it'll detect you're logged into facebook, and the refer stuff tells them you, Mr Dorset was on properspursy. This, coupled with your browser fingerprint (the exact versions of what you have installed, platform, even stuff like the fonts you have installed) can be used to identify you, even between sites that don't have a session. So FB might know you're logged on, as Mr Dorset, but they've have your browser fingerprint, and even if you log off, every time you load the render button, they'll know it's you loading it, logged in, or not, and what site it was from. If multiple sites work out a unique fingerprint the same way, you can build links between users of other sites and whatnot as well, so you know that your user may also be a user of another site.

So el Google knows that properspursy is a spurs fan site, and they largely know the content of each page.... they can assign keywords to that page. Google for all intents and purposes could know this page is about Spurs, White Hart Lane, and so on. I think they will load every link that goes through Facebook, to inspect and categorise it, maybe for a domain level... I doubt per page, but maybe they do.

It's pretty intimidating what these companies can know about you.

CLUB UNVEILS SPECIAL EDITION MATCH SHIRT FOR LANE FINALE
Posted on 9 May 2017 - 09:58

We are pleased to announce that the First Team squad will wear special edition match day shirts that will pay tribute to White Hart Lane and the Tottenham Tribute Trust in the final home game to be played at our famous stadium against Manchester United.

shirt_for_finale730a.jpg

The shirts will incorporate our special edition White Hart Lane crest, which pays homage to our home of 118 years. The unique emblem will feature above our players’ names on the back of their match shirts for this fixture and is inspired by some of the most iconic aspects around the stadium.

The Club announced last week that the Tottenham Tribute Trust would be the charity supported throughout The Finale of the Lane and we can now reveal that their TTT logo will feature on the front of the commemorative match shirts alongside our Official Shirt Sponsor AIA, who have kindly agreed to this inclusion in support of the important work of the Trust.

The Trust is the first of its kind, established by the Club in 2002 and run by a board of independent and voluntary trustees, dedicated to serving the needs of former players who find themselves in a situation that compromises their quality of life.

The club have invited more than 80 former Spurs players and staff to be paraded on the pitch at the end of the match and the details of that were revealed at the meeting. The ceremony itself is anticipated to last between 30 and 35 minutes and pending rights clearances the club hope that the farewell ceremony will be broadcast live.

I bought a signed Spurs season at a charity auction,in the closed season when I was wealthier( no kids) and very drunk, paid £400 for it, back in 2000-2001 season.......just a few weeks before Judas left, leaving my shirt totally worthless .......no wonder I hate him more than most
