...and another thing if the Dippers will pay £60m for Dick Van Dyke then Kyle Walker has to be worth £100m to City eh? I don't want him to go, but I don't want him to stay if he wants to go.

According to the media, United have offered £113m for Mbappe. I expect that is bollocks as it came from AS, but there are some daft real offers being thrown around, so how the fuck much is Harry Kane worth? He's a proper three season wonder, not just one, so £200m?

Madrid have supposedly upped that to £118 mill! Sorry @Don Diaz, your dreams of him coming to the Lane are getting shattered on a daily basis!

Wouldn't it be lovely if he said fuck it and told Monaco to accept any offer Spurs put in for him, because I wanna really enjoy my football at the most progressive club in world football, with a bunch of players that play champagne football and look like they're having the time of their lives under the best manager in the world!!

All joking aside I'd say Dele is probably like for like Mbappe, c.£100m and Kane is one of the top 10 strikers in Europe so £150m. Both have the huge advantage of age on their side and if you put them in Real madrids team instead of Isco and Benzema neither would look out of place, and potentially make Bale look ordinary. That's how good they are, in my view anyway. Vital that we keep them for at least a couple of years to go to an even higher level. Exciting times if we can add one or two young diamonds to go with them.

If Van Dijk is worth 60m, then Alderweireld must be worth the GDP of an average sized European country

Good point....if we hazard a guess at the value of the first XI I reckon it would be something like this, based on age and desirability....just my guesses:
Hugo - £30m
Walker- £45m
Toby- £65m
Jan -£55m
Rose- £50m
Dier-£70m
Dembele-£50m
Wanyama-£55m
Eriksen -£80m
Dele-£100m
Kane-£150m

Total £750m

Excluding Son, Trippier, Davies, Wimmer, Lamela, Winks, Sissoko, Janssen, Vorm, GKN, N'jie, Onomah, and anyone else say £150m total so the playing squad alone is worth £900m at today's prices.....bonkers!

We could sell everyone and pay for the stadium in full and still have £200m to buy a new squad!

Detailed Info from the club is very hard to come by and probably why the media are reporting such crap. Like JJ said a week or so ago I have been told we are looking a bringing in 3 or 4 players to provide more depth, a couple of youngsters (not academy type) and trying for one household name. Isco is off the agenda now, due to his circumstances changing at Real. As far as outgoing are concerned any leaving will be on our terms and only if Poch agrees, if Lopez is signed permanently then Vorm is likely to go.

The club will continue to look at value in the light of the crazy transfer fees being banded about for very average players. Have been told to expect a signing in the next few days, but that's about all I have been able to get at the moment

French media are claiming that Arsenal are preparing a new and improved £120 million offer for MBappe, and that Real Madrid have already offered £118m for him. It's farking mental.

However the lad himself seems to have his bonce firmly fixed on his shoulders:

I'm not 35 or 36, an age where I have to manage [my body], I still have everything to learn, this year was discovery, and now comes the most important step: Confirmation.

He knows he needs to learn and develop into a proper, complete player and it make sense to stay at Monaco to do that. He could crash and burn under the Real Madrid pressure or he could become one of the world class greats paying against true legends like Harry Kane in the future. The media are reporting that he is going to 'snub' all those clubs that are after him, but really he is just being sensible. I like this lad, offer him his very own sold gold (plated) peg in the dressing room Levy and don't forget to tell him about the glass tunnel, I'll bet Monaco haven't got one of those have they?

Get agent Hugo on the case, he speaks decent French, or David Ginola....he'll say good things.

Isn't that for all intents and purposes an admission of guilt?
Yes mate and I expect the FA will take 20 points from them next season - oh what am I saying? They might get fined 27p and be made to sit on the naughty step.

Manchester City have signed goalkeeper Ederson Moraes for £35m from Benfica.

The 23-year-old broke into the Benfica team last March and won the Portuguese league and cup double this season.
"I like everything about Manchester City," said Ederson,

Hasnt been to moss side yet or checked out the weather me thinks

You leave Moss Side alone, aside from the terrorist living within our community it's lovely....

Edit: He'll most likely live in Cheshire or get a flat in the Hilton if he wants city centre living anyway, most players get bored of city centre living pretty quickly when they realise they can't leave the apartment without being harassed.

I didn't realise that British clubs can't actually 'sign' anyone until 1st July - our window runs 1st July - 1st September. In most of mainland Europe the window starts in mid June....putting the European clubs at an advantage. I would have thought that standardising the dates and making it a UEFA rule, would make sense?

I think the FA will give them points for being "honest" cheaters.

Joël Veltman edging closer to Ajax exit as Janssen encourages Premier League move.

“Vincent Janssen has already joked that we will be team-mates, but at the moment there is nothing concrete,” said Veltman.

“Normally it is or sign a new deal or leave, as I have only one year left. After my holiday there will be clarity, but the incentive to take a step up is now bigger than before.”
