After the talk of I like Nachos... I quite fancied a punt on the lad...

I'd imagine wages from that mob would always be a problem especially for a 20 year old who's done fuck all compared to our boys.

Good luck Walker (but not too much)... shame you sold out for cash as I thought you were better than that but I understand it.

Well I'm always disappointed to lose any of our better players especially to a rival, but don't think he'll harm us and the price is ridiculous. I wish him luck against every one except us and for England, but I'm very happy with Trippier and it appeared towards the end of last season that so was Poch, good enough for me.

Dier to Man United would be a different kettle of kippers.

Honestly, I think this is a good deal for all involved, a lot of the reporting (pinch of salt, etc) is that Poch didn't have him in his plans, and obviously we've made a tidy bit of cash on this. Surely Sissoko will be next, especially as he essentially called out poch in the media not long ago.

Got home from work today (love a 5 hour time difference and all) and I only noticed it then. Was kind of hoping he would have a change of heart but fair enough. Got plenty of time for Mr Kyle Walker and I wish him well, loved his pride and passion when he pulled our shirt on and I for one will miss him in our squad. Pay is always going to be a problem, especially with our strict wage structure, hope we don't get any more head turning action on anymore international meet ups. My only issue is that we strengthened a direct rival to us and that annoys me.

As for Dier going to Man U....that's croc right ? Right ?

You know, leaving everything else aside, it's hard to think that Kyle Walker just sold for 50 million fucking quid. Surely that kind of spending can't last.

£££££££££'s fair enough if that's your bag at 27 and & £50m for us, no brainer, we could have bought Dani Alves:p:D

Good luck mate, don't forget which club made you as you rake in the cash.

When you make a defensive error and realise you have John Stones covering you instead of Alderweireld.

If he had gone abroad I would wish him well, but to a rival !!,still doesnt show our intent to smash the league for an era.Its important for us he doesnt win big, dont want our players looking on thinking they should jump ship next.£50m is silly money, thats £100m for stones&walker, seriously on what planet does that give you confidence?

In the past pep's often done this strange thing where his left and right backs tuck in as the rest of the team pushed forward. The exact opposite of what kyles good at. He doesn't seem a very good fit for them imo, but then again, who cares?

Alderweireld, vertongen, dier, rose, hugo, and still have change from one of those.
Yeah that's the thing, if walkers worth 50 million, those guys are basically priceless (though I guess Toby doesn't have as long on his contract as the others)

I believe it is 10% of the profit.

Along with that massive lump sum, I wanted Iheanacho & Sancho included. @Chavhater01 I thought Levy would surely do it given the situation MCFC were in.

Yeah mate but I'm guessing on our side, we just wanted to get it done and move on as quick as poss. After all, if you're Levy, that's 1/16th of the new stadium paid for!

Yep, if he wants to go to a rival then he can fuck off and I will boo him without mercy, I will be merciless in my booing of him when he plays us, completely without any shred of mercy, I will boo him Let's hope he has perfected his wankbrain back passing like when he lost us that game against the dippers. He's too old for us now anyway, he's on the downhill slope and will regret leaving us when we win the title next year and he wins fuck all with City. I would have wished him well if head gone to Real Madrid or some other Johnny Foreigner club, but he didn't so he is a cunt. I don't give any fucks about the money because I know it will be trousered by Levy like all the other transfer profits he has trousered and the saving of the budget that every top club except us must spend on players. Levy is a cunt, so is Walker.

Anyone who has been our 1st team, especially those "made" or improved by the club, who then turn round and ask or demand to leave to "bigger" places,I can say I would wholeheartedly allow Julian Clary to go to town on them with a pineapple, ratfish, monkeyboy, berba, walker,I would say keano but he came back before we realised he had gone.
I hope spurs fans come up with some nice dog related songs, something like muff and cruffs or going down faster than a pug on someones missus.
He`s dead to me!!

Apparently Man City are , having let go 4 defenders end of last season, are still after a 2nd right back.....so 100m and. trippier is theirs ........4/5 years after they let him go for free !!!
Or is that really embarrassing, that they've just spent 50m whose place has been taken over by an X freebie !

Some tinternet issues getting on here the last few weeks. Glad to be back!
Where better to start than this one!
£50m+ for him is a ridiculously good deal for us and anyone who says different is wrong. Plain wrong. Don't know why he wanted to go, fallout with Pochettino, lack of balls to fight for his place, went for the moolah etc. No idea tbh but for the foreseeable future in my eyes he's a money grabbing cunt.
Hope you achieve everything you ever wanted from your football career at that soulless dump.

Pretty sure there is a video doing the rounds where he says he's "TTID" whilst sitting beside Danny Rose on a plane. Shallow words matesy. Enjoy your cabbage

Let's just imagine BITD ( back in the day) when the Sheik came into to City on his camel.....what would have happened should he have put his money into an equally sized club and equally successful club, i.e. Sheffield Wednesday .......would KW reallly have taken the money , and joined them after starting out at Utd

How beautiful would it be if Trippier had a breakthrough season and pipped him to the starting RB position in the WC next summer?
