Looks like we're playing pretty well, the defence will tighten up when it's all for real. I expect Kane loves having Trippier's passes and crosses coming in.

OK, this whole Champions Cup is bullshit. On the other hand, we watched the team train this afternoon, and this happened tonight (I'm the guy on the left).
Which left? It always puzzles me when people say left or right about pictures, if I am standing on the left - which in case anyone has any doubt, I do, then I become the person on the right in a picture, and that would not do, I do not stand on the right. Oh no, that is where I most definitely do not stand, it's nasty over there with all those flag wavers.OK, this whole Champions Cup is bullshit. Well I was just going to say the white guy, but...Which left? It irks me when the full facts are not given. It's like when people say 'the western world', what the very fuck is that all about? West of where? Mrs D gets a bit angry with my insistence on the full facts, I have to shut the fuck up when there are news reports on the TV that do not satisfy my obsessive desire for context and complete information.
If you are the guy on the left, from the perspective of the subjects of this photograph, then you could get a job as a double for HM King Ledley, if you are the guy on the right, but on the left of the picture as we look at it then you would not be very successful as an impersonator of his majesty and should consider another career, but were lucky to have met the legend himself, I bet you're chuffed a little bit!

It was great, 1000s of Spurs fans (and almost no City fans) drinking on Broadway in Nashville last night, I'd say prob. 1/3 of whom were expats and tourists from your side of the pond who followed the team on tour. 2000+ people at Ledley's event last night. What I really enjoyed was the training, was striking to watch some of the younger ones in particular really going at it. Giorgiou injured his hand going into the hoardings chasing down a ball in a 9v9 session, and most agreed that Winks and Dembele looked the best players in training. Fun to watch Poch barking at them to press (which was the whole focus of the training) over and over again. Good times.why arent you on your knees?
Had the pleasure of meeting dozens of ex-players,never disappoints to meet people who are heroes in our eyes, you must be buzzing.
And tonight you will see the 1st ever nutmeg on a snake !!It was great, 1000s of Spurs fans (and almost no City fans) drinking on Broadway in Nashville last night, I'd say prob. 1/3 of whom were expats and tourists from your side of the pond who followed the team on tour. 2000+ people at Ledley's event last night. Ooooh that's a proper team. I like muchly.![]()
City XI: Ederson, Walker, Danilo, Kompany (c),Stones, Otamendi, Sterling, De Bruyne, Silva, Fernandinho, G Jesus
wanyama has a slight leg injury, but not to worry reports say, walker will be happy, just dier to give him a knock then.Ooooh that's a proper team. I like muchly.
Yeah, if anything, it revealed what everyone's been saying, that we just need to get our boys healthy again and to bolster our depth a bit. We particularly need a bit more pace (though I really think Nkoudou could be a good player for us given time). Hate to admit it, but Walker was a handful in their system, as did Danilo. It was a friendly, definatly a friendly by Jesus and Aguero !!
Well last year they had what 10 on the bounce, the league wrapped up in october,NOT.We just werent on our game,no one except Lloris and Vorm had a good day, doesnt mean we wont compete or that city are champions elect,if anything it will have shown Poch/Levy we need some additions, but before we start singing "we`re fucking shit",lets not forget wanyama, rose, son, lamela to return, and can all citys latinos do this on a january night in stoke,5 dgrs and rain not 30 and sunny like home for them.
Lets move on,get home and get ready for newcastle away and then the chance to show the bald chav rentboy prick why he should just keep his mouth shut!!
It's what it's all about isn't it.....glad you and your. It's had such a fantastic time, worth that drive after all!Yeah, if anything, it revealed what everyone's been saying, that we just need to get our boys healthy again and to bolster our depth a bit. As for the result, we were far more open than we would have been in a game that counted. They were very good on the night and we were very poor. Pretty sure we had a similar record last preseason.
Overall a good night even given the outcome, two great moments for me:
1) a kid in a Citeh shirt behind us booing Kyle Walker
2) when my youngest got a wave and a thumbs up from his idol Eriksen.
Fun to meet a lot of longtime Spurs supporters from all over the country and from England who just took over the town, that sort of thing doesn't happen all that often for me, even after all these years.
TBH,call me one of the clubs unambitious fans, part of the problem, accepting Pochettino and Levy`s tight purse strings, happy clapping my way to oblivion (and wembley finals, uefa cup finals),and i do enjoy the game, and a result can make it better but mostly I go for the craic, the before and after with fans, friends,if I purely wanted the result I would watch on tv and own a ferrari by now!!Poor results are quickly forgotten, good times and memories are forever and you can have them even when the team loses.Yeah, if anything, it revealed what everyone's been saying, that we just need to get our boys healthy again and to bolster our depth a bit. Yep, me too. Count me among the ranks of the "happy clappers."
