That's a good game to warm up with if true.http://www.football.london/tottenha...rs-wembley-juventus-friendly-chelsea-13212807
Tottenham Hotspur have lined up a friendly against Serie A champions Juventus at Wembley Stadium to help them settle into their new home, according to reports in Italy.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has previously spoken about the need to get some training sessions in at the national stadium - where Spurs will spend a season before their move to their new 61,559-seater stadium alongside the site of White Hart Lane.
He had hoped to play a game there and according to Italian media outlet La Stampa, fellow Champions League side Juventus will provide the opposition on August 5.
Far better than the usual Enfield / Stevenage? That's a good game to warm up with if true.
That's old school Rev, those type of fixtures rarely happen any more.Far better than the usual Enfield / Stevenage?
We still normally send a "tottenham XI" more PR and normally whilst the 1st team is on tour somewhere. That's old school Rev, those type of fixtures rarely happen any more.
....ah yes you're right,......Falcao and Anderton normally bang a couple in....We still normally send a "tottenham XI" more PR and normally whilst the 1st team is on tour somewhere.
Looking forward to seeing some of the younger players in pre season now. Especially Edwards and Sterling as I got a good feeling about those lads.
They've made a huge cock up with their pricing. We could get Juventus in a champs league game and pay a similar price...Re Juve friendly
Lots of wailing about prices and ticketing by "relevant sports" (usa company),last season £75 for 3 CL matches,£45 one friendly?.
After all the piss taking about the emptihad this could be an experience&wake up call for THFC ??
Apparently its same deal as last season when liverpool played barca there.Relevant sports hire the stadium and invite the teams, charge what they like (as is their right),liverpool tickets last year did start at £26,but having just browsed through rawk about the match, many there werent happy paying 50 quid for tickets, however that fixture did pull nearly 90k,but Juve arent barca and messi. They've made a huge cock up with their pricing.
