Well I loved his play since Poch changed his position slightly,loved his debut even more!!But like many,I am more than a little pissed at the guy for his comments;

DG0upRAXoAAUqb4.jpg

The dust has settled, and he is now back training with the squad, with a possible return to the team in the next month. My feelings are quite confused towards the guy,he has the right to what he feels i agree, even if I dont agree with all the content, but to the sun?Just as a new season started, having been injured and not played for half a season where perhaps we did pretty ok I think!!Maybe the context and the Walker transfer going on twist the message?I am trying to be level here in my reactions and thinking neither defend or attack him,I do have feelings on that, but his imminent return has me conflicted about possible reactions from our fanbase.

I have no doubt both the team and Pochettino`s staff have made their peace with the situation now,and Poch wont let this affect team spirit or morale.Whether he is out the door in january, that is down to poch not danny rose or the fans,or I would hope so.
I have thought through what happens when the team is read out over the PA lets say first home game he plays, number 2;kieran trippier yaay, number 3 danny rose.......what follows?silence?boo or yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay? What happens first times he gets the ball, misses a tackle or miss places a pass?encouragement or "fuck off out of my club you snake".What signal would that send to the other players?keep your mouth shut or get the same,or do I want to play for these fans?

Can we ever have him truly back in the fold, can he rise above it & perform to earn our forgiveness (OFC he can,I mean can he fight through the inevitable abuse from some).will he just mull about until the inevitable sale to Man utd,and how the fuck does ben davies feel about it,if he does come back better or as good as?
There was quite a split reaction on social media to photos of him returning to training,I would guess a slight majority were quite vitriolic,a few snake emojis here and there and others vocal in needing him back this busy crucial time.

If he does get the bird how will we look to the viewing public?how will rose react?rise up and fight to be a spur or simply bide his time for 2 months and fuck off with a huge rise to boot.Is a fee of £50m good enough to get rid as soon as?no doubt without those comments we would be fighting to keep him to stay.

Like I said I have conflicted feelings on the matter, but hope we dont go overboard in giving Danny stick,my own thinking ATM is just dont shout or say nothing until he gives us reason to cheer him on again. If he cops serious abuse,it could really derail the teams mindset is my view.

Fuck him the snake cunt...

I know you wanted more than that mate but as he quite eloquently articulates... life is short so why waste it not winning trophies. His attitude will not be conducive to our teams ethos in achieving that goal.

Walker and him are obviously of the same mindset imo and if it's for the glory then you can't argue with that but to go to a club that finished below us in the league and double your salary speaks more truth to me. IMO It isn't about glory as the fork tongue'd prick has said its about the next big contract and making as much money over the next 5 year deal as he fucking can.

Now the blame for this partly lays with the club. They need to start paying the insane wages every other cunt is paying and attracting the absolute cream of the mercenary crop. I don't give a fuck about FFP because no other cunt does either. I don't give a single shit about being a club in profit either and while I admire Levy doing what he has on the budget of a top 8 club at best, we are yet to amount to a single fucking thing in tangible terms.

Pay the wages... get the crazy star players... win some silverware and keep the players/employees as long as they are useful or until we have a more adequate upgrade...

Once he continues what Walker started the rest will eventually follow unless we stump up cash and silverware...

lol its actually how i feel, well the 1st line !!
I am intrigued as to how support on a match day reacts.

The guy was moments away from being a sunderland player for life,he didnt turn it around, the club turned him around, same with walker,he could have been playing against danny as a villa player one division down, also against Bale at forest. They have turned into fine players, definatly late bloomers, these monied wankers they now desire to join would not have helped turn them into internationals, they would have fucked them off,not help make them better. We arent talking about a god born talent like hoddle, maradona, gazza here, they were simply gifted, others have to work hard and lets be honest trained and coached to be of any worth, fact these cunts get a big head and the big I am does my swede in.

Like this mate, lots of food for thought!

As far as I'm concerned, the only thing I don't like and it's quite a big thing, is him mouthing off to the Sun, I despise everything about that paper...EVERYTHING! If it wasn't so abrasive I'd wipe my ass with it. Also as you touched on mate, I don't like the fact his honestly could lead to other players at the club thinking the same.

Other than that and as painful it is to admit, I get where he's coming from, the guy's 27 and he seems to speak openly and from the heart, which is quite refreshing. He's let ppl know where he stands, so there's no doubt, with regards to the fans, as to what his intentions and ambitions are. He's 27, 28 come next Summer, getting to that stage where he wants that final bumper contract and he clearly wants to win trophies and be on parity salary wise with the best full backs that our rivals are paying.

Bottom line is that, Utd who he seems to be courting, stand a better chance of winning trophies than we can offer him, purely on the money that they have available to throw at pretty much any player they want. They may have finished way off us last season in the league but still picked up 2 trophies and trophies at the end of the day are what players ultimately want to win. He wants a move back up North, he wants a salary he feels he deserves and a better chance to win trophies and unfortunately, he'll get all those at Utd.

How he'll be treated, I agree with you, they'll be those that boo him, those that empathise with him and those that are fairly ambivalent about the whole situation, for me I have a foot in all those camps but again, ultimately he needs to do whatever he feels right for his own piece of mind, as fucked up as it is for me too say. 5 years ago I'd be burning effigies of him in the street, damn I've mellowed!

I would just say that 10 mths before this statement he signed a new 5 year deal,22nd sept 2016

The 26-year-old has since fully established himself in our team and he has made 126 appearances and scored nine goals to date. He was also named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for 2015-16.
His fine form has seen him break into the senior England squad with eight caps to his name
following his debut earlier this year.

We finished runners up,lost in a cup semi-final,qualified 2 years in a row for CL,(all mostly without Rose) where exactly did it all go wrong and he felt so under-valued??Perhaps like Walker he doesnt like having serious talent competing in his position, hows that working out for you at Citeh kyle??Thing is he could have aired his views in private to Levy,Pochettino and perhaps, wait until he was at least fucking fit to play before what looks like forcing the transfer issue. Is it really out of bounds that we sell Rose in january and win the league in May?its not beyond probability is it?,we were fucking runners up and 3rd the year before, please where did united finish those years?ok they won the league cup and europey league, but is that what danny is aiming at?

I`d rather have a commited so called lesser player than rose like davies, winks, dier, trippier, that is our strength at spurs atm, commited team ethic. The guy is a fucking left back,in order of importance to a team its not as important as a keeper,CB,CM,striker, aha thats the problem, walker & rose suffer from fullback syndrome and dont like being the last leaning against the fence before being picked cos in a team they arent a big thing and have got all small man syndrome.

Sorry you triggered me,not your fault,I`ll go with
@Yid `s first line :).

Lol some journo actually asked this at todays press conference

Seeing Luke Shaw's career at Manchester United, is that why Danny Rose should stay at Tottenham?
I think you must ask him.

And that right there is the fucking crux of it all...

Be fucking honest I'm 100% cool with that as long as it's to the right person and doesn't contradict what you have publicly stated 10 fucking minutes ago.

This is why Robbie Keane is dead to me... said all the right things to make him a hall of famer and preached about never wanting to leave and be at the club for life... signing a huge new deal on that premise... and then fucking off to his 'boyhood club' of the moment just weeks later...

Fuck him... and fuck Rose... at least Walker never chatted shit, Berbatov never chatted shit, Bale never chatted shit, RatfishBoy refused to play/train but never chatted shit...

CHAT SHIT GET BANGED...

I totally get where you and @Yid are coming from. Retrospectively, having read your last posts and in particular those clips and how he seems to have let 2 seasons of form go to his head, he is a cunt but a cunt that looks like he wants a change. The last few years, he has under Poch turned into one of the best left backs in the world and he wants to capitalise on that but there are ways of going about it and as honest as it maybe, he's leaving himself wide open to a torrent of abuse. Bit like the Walker situation, I'd rather we let him go sooner rather than later, so as you say, the club can surround themselves with players that are mentally prepared to believe in the project that Poch has going, than have someone spouting shit that could get in the minds of other players, if it hasn't already.

God it'd be lovely if he does leave at the end of the season, to pick up the pl trophy after beating Utd at nwhl.

Let's bank £50 mill and get Ryan Sessegnon for £20 mill, job done!

Annie Rose is the girl you were with for two years in your twenties. She was beautiful, the sex was incredible, you're making plans to to buy a house together. And then out of the blue, she says she's bored, she never really loved you and she's going to Manchester to kick on in her career. Your life is in tatters. With the help of your old platonic friend Brenda Davies, you manage to keep going. Little by little things even out, and you're feeling like things are turning around.

A year later, you run into Annie Rose in a pub. You reminisce for hours, eventually she admits she was completely wrong and that it hasn't been the same without you. You're on cloud nine, you take her home and have the best sex ever. You feel like things are as good as they could be.

Two weeks later she says that something's changed, it's not how she she remembered it, she can't live a lie and she's going back to Manchester. Fucking Manchester!

So just fuck off now Annie Rose. It doesn't matter how good you are. I don't need this, you'll just shaft me later when I've got even more invested in our relationship. Just fucking go now and let me get on with my life. I think I'll go over to Brenda's - she always cheers me up.

Guess I'm in the minority here but no change there ;)

I hear what you guys are saying and think he was an utter twat to do what he did. But why not play the situation to our advantage, because if I was Poch, that is what I would be doing. He wants to leave and chase the money train, great- earn the move out the club. Why should we sell him cause that is what he wants, what about what is good for THFC? We'll replace him in the summer giving the coaches time to find the correct replacement (i.e Aurier for Walker) not some panic buy. Rose will want to make the WC squad- hence he'll have to play out of his skin in the games available to him. If those games happen to be the LC, the FA Cup and the odd game in the league when Ben needs a rest, then why not ? He won't walk in as 1st choice left back anymore, Ben has been outstanding so far this season and has rightly made that place his....it's now up to Rose to try and prove himself.

I hate what he said especially to the friggin Sun of all places, but I fall on the side of what is best for the club I love, and having two highly talented left backs operating in our squad can only be better for the team this season.....next season, well that's a whole other discussion.

If he comes back strong or stronger,I wont hold a grudge. He can get himself back into the fans hearts, but it now has to all come from him, performances, what he says&how he acts.I would be happy with that,I would also now be happy with a sizeable chunk of cash to spend on sessignon in january, last october this situation would have worried me,after Davies` performances it doesnt now..

Apparently the players will have him back no problem, based on the fact that it could be anyone of them next Summer, if they wanted to move or the club wanted to move them on.

Obviously for some it's just a business, a job - Benny was one outspoken in that regard. For us lot it's so much more than that, it's in our blood. Danny needs to apologise to the fans somehow and then show it on the pitch, through passion and commitment. That might do it for me, but ultimately Poch is the man to decide, and he is our new god, so whatever he decides is right.

He's about 70% back to last season I reckon. We'll see how determined and committed he is between now and Christmas. If he stays it will also be interesting to see what Ben Davies does.

I agree, but as long as he has the shirt on i wont give him stick on the pitch. If he wins me back he`ll have done something amazing, seems pretty contrite ATM as he fucking should.
Personally i like sessegnon from fulham,a bit raw but has that pace you cant teach.Dont know much about tiernay, never watched celtic this decade.
