Lads, wonder if anyone can help with this one as I know you follow all levels of Spurs.

Daughter has been given freebie tickets to *cough* Chelsea 'Ladies' *Cough* and wants to go**, it's only a stones throw from us so I'm gonna take her and she can meet with a couple of friends.

Anyway, I've noticed next Wednesday Spurs Ladies are there for a match and if she likes Saturday I'm wondering whether to go along and give them a bit of support. Now this is Spurs Chelsea and as we all know the clubs don't exactly like each other so I was wondering if there is any segregation involved in ladies football? I'd hate to have the match spoiled by some gobshites if we sit in the home end! There's also no way I'm gonna be able to keep my mouth shut and not cheer on the Spurs!

Just don't want to promise something and have it all go wrong, would rather leave it now.

**Don't fret she's a proper little Yidette (I used to take her in the Park Lane).

I guess Chelsea customer services would be the best place to find out. I doubt there's much segregation but I fear that you might watch a very high scoring defeat for our ladies. Chelsea are about two leagues higher than us, with a host of England players. We might get a tonking.

So the Ladies are doing well......second in the Championship (the second division for women) 1 point behind Man United and through to the next round of the FA Cup having beaten Sheffield United 2-1.

Unfortunately one of our defenders Renee Hector was racially abused during the game. This report from BBC Sport website

Tottenham Ladies defender Renee Hector says she was subjected to racist abuse by a Sheffield United player during Sunday's game. Hector, 23, made the claim in a tweet after Tottenham won 2-1 to go second in the FA Women's Championship. "Such a shame that racism seems to be rising up again in football," the former Watford Ladies player wrote.

"I received some monkey noises from an opposition player. The only reaction was to let football do the talking."

Sheffield United Women said in a statement that they "are aware of the post on social media and have already begun an investigation to determine the full facts". Spurs, who said the alleged incident was reported to the referee by Hector during the game, also reported it to the FA.

An FA statement read: "We take all allegations of discrimination very seriously and will be making enquiries into the matter." Anti-discrimination charity Kick It Out said it had received reports of alleged racist abuse against Hector.

"We have informed the FA as the game's governing body and have offered our support to them with their investigation, and to the player herself," it said in a statement.

Unfortunately the girls lost 0-3 to Man City today in the Ladies FA Cup. No disgrace City are one of the elite teams in the WSL Premier league. Our Ladies are top of the Championship

Yes at 18,21 and 24 they'd tower over Lucas Moura and Danny Rose!

Spurs ladies came back from 2-0 down to beat Charlton 3-2 and are now only 3 points away from joining Manchester United ladies in winning promotion from the Championship to the Womens Super league, next season. They have two away games left, against Aston Villa and Durham who are third.

The ladies have been promoted along with Manchester United after a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa and Durham's draw with Leicester. Congrats, Levy will need to fork out a few quid here as well, the Womens Super League is the female equivalent of the Male Premier League and is a big step up in class from the Championship. Good luck next season ladies.

The ladies are now in their first season in the Womens Super League and Spurs Ladies are now called Tottenham Hotspur Women, They lost to Chelsea (away) in their first game and beat Liverpool 1-0 last week to lie 6th in the table. They made some significant signings during the Summer, to strengthen the squad. Good luck for the rest of the season.

They moved the ball around pretty well after the first 15 minutes or against Liverpool, just missed that bit of quality in the last third to either find the last past or make the finish.

Karen Hills and Juan Amoros leave Club
Thu 19 November 2020, 12:00|Tottenham Hotspur

The Club can announce that Tottenham Hotspur Women Head Coaches Karen Hills and Juan Amoros have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.
This decision has not been taken lightly and has been made in the best interests of the team, with the belief that a fresh approach will offer renewed impetus as we seek to continue our upward trajectory and positive growth.
We fully recognise and appreciate the contributions of Karen and Juan during their time with the Club, helping elevate the team from amateur level to become a fully professional side in the Women’s Super League and we thank them both for their hard work and length of service.
Everybody at the Club wishes both Karen and Juan the best for the future.
We shall provide an update on new coaching staff in due course.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Rehanne Skinner as Tottenham Hotspur Women Head Coach on a contract that runs until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Rehanne joins from the Football Association where she has been England Women's National Team Assistant Head Coach to Phil Neville since September, having initially joined them three years earlier as Women's National Head Coach (U18-U21s).

Prior to that, Rehanne held the position of Assistant Manager at Arsenal where she worked for three years alongside Laura Harvey during a highly successful period for the team from 2010, lifting two Women's Super League titles, two Conti Cups and one FA Cup, as well as reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals on two occasions.

Rehanne was also the Team Great Britain Assistant Coach to Kay Cossington at the World Student Games, winning the gold medal in 2013 before spending time overseas coaching in Florida. She returned to the UK in 2016 with the Wales Women’s National Team as Assistant Manager before taking up her role in 2017 with the FA, her second spell at the governing body having coached England national youth teams for seven years earlier in her career.

As a player, she represented Middlesbrough and Leicester City, working her way up the coaching ranks at the latter where she took on the roles of Girls Centre Of Excellence Technical Director, Girls U19 Academy Director, Community Manager and Women's First Team Manager.

Youth development was a key focus for Rehanne during her time at Leicester and a number of players achieved international call-ups, while the team secured four successive promotions to reach the Women's Premier League National Division.

Rehanne said: “I am really excited to be joining Tottenham Hotspur and cannot wait to get started in the WSL after the international break. The Club’s philosophy and future plans are something I was really keen to be a part of. They have shown a real commitment to the women’s team and have come a long way in a short period of time which is a credit to all the players and staff involved.

“There is some incredible experience within this squad and I am looking forward to getting to work with the players so we can build on the progress that has been made so far and bring future success to the team.”

Tottenham Hotspur Head of Women’s Football, Heather Cowan, said: “We are pleased to welcome Rehanne to the Club. She has extensive experience in the women’s game and we are looking forward to having her with us now as we look to continue our journey forward in the WSL.”
